Hacerme tatujaes se ha convertido en unas de las cosas que más disfruto hacer desde hace unos años para acá. Comencé con cosas pequeñas pero con este último si quise hacerme algo un poco más grande y a color, aunque tampoco sea mucho. Como aficionado a todo lo referente con la cultura japonesa y en especial el anime me dicidí por un diseño que involucra un poco de ambas de cosas. En este caso hay un trio de máscaras kitsune, una katana y unas flores rojas.
Getting tattoos has become one of the things I enjoy doing the most since a few years ago. I started with small things but with this last one I wanted to do something a little bit bigger and in color, even though it's not much. As a fan of everything related to Japanese culture and especially anime I decided to go for a design that involves a bit of both. In this case there is a trio of kitsune masks, a katana and some red flowers.
El diseño es uno que involucra un poco todas las cosas. Cuando hablo del anime es porque en Kimetsu no Yaiba estas máscaras son comunes en los forjadores de espadas o katanas, de ahí que veamos a los hombres que las funden y elaboran siempre de incognito. También a veces vemos a Tanjiro, el protagonista usar una de ellas. Es un diseño sencillo pero que en realidad me gustó mucho, creo que también va un poco con todo lo que llevo en el otro brazo. Esta fue una sesión de un poco más de tres horas. Está en proceso de curación pero lo más probable es que haga falta unos retoques ya que no todas las pieles son iguales en lo que a aborber el color se trata. De todas maneras estoy muy contento con el resultado. Se siente muy cool tener una pieza más grande que los 10 minimalistas que tengo el brazo derecho. Y claro está que este no será el último, ya estoy pensando en el siguiente.
The design is one that involves a little bit of everything. When I talk about the anime it is because in Kimetsu no Yaiba these masks are common in sword or katana forgers, hence we see the men who cast and craft them always incognito. We also sometimes see Tanjiro, the protagonist wearing one of them. It's a simple design but one that I actually really liked, I think it also goes a bit with everything I'm wearing on the other arm. This was a little over a three hour session. It is in the process of healing but will most likely need some touch ups as not all skins are the same when it comes to tackling color. Anyway I am very happy with the result. It feels very cool to have a bigger piece than the 10 minimalist ones I have on my right arm. And of course this won't be the last one, I'm already thinking about the next one.
