The campaign uses a platform called Zealy to gamify and crowd source the marketing experience. As you can see in the photo below, there are currently 908 members in the HIVE Zealy community. Each day new HIVE quests / missions appear. By completing a quest, you earn points which get tallied up for each user. There are various types of quests, from recurring daily missions, to expiring one-time missions. Some of the tasks include replying and creating engagement on LEO Threads, tuning in to various podcasts or Twitter spaces, and raiding various posts on social media. To be quite honest, writing this post about the Zealy campaign is actually a quest within the campaign itself! Below is a look at the details of this quest, titled "Hive Publisher" (only 2.5 hours left for me to submit!).
As you can see, the steps to complete the quest are very straightforward.
Throughout the marketing campaign, participants accumulate points and the goal of each participant is to climb the overall leaderboard. The 5,000 HBD prize pool will be distributed to a large group of winners (I believe over 200 of the top users on the leaderboard). Below is a look at the current leaderboard. First place currently has 1160 points.
I am currently rank number 83 on the leaderboard with 32 quests completed and 1100 points (just 60 points away from first place). Even at rank 83, I will be guaranteed to receive a portion of the HBD prize pool.
The HIVE Zealy campaign will be live until October 3rd. I highly recommend any and all HIVE users to create an account and join in to help spread the good word! The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about LeoFinance and HIVE while onboarding new users and creating genuine engagement on the platform. Overall, it is a great way to rally around an outreach initiative, while simultaneously earning some HBD as a reward for your effort. Participation is a no-brainer, in my personal opinion.
I'm happy to see crowd sourced marketing initiatives like this finally taking off. HIVE has the power to harness a big, active, international community for maximum outreach and a campaign like this is a great way to mobilize the troops! I look forward to seeing the onboarding and activity growth at the end of the campaign... and who knows... if it is a great success, perhaps there will be more campaigns like this down the road!
