Let's have a look at 1KX and how you can help both the Dapp and yourself by testing it out.

What Is 1KX?

1KX is trying to bring single token liquidity pools to DeFi. For this, the protocol will need to create virtual liquidity pools by bringing all deposited assets together and with a little help of their stablecoin OSD.

Single token liquidity pools are more capital-efficient, resulting in a more optimized experience for all participants including traders, liquidity providers and third party projects.

How To Get 1KX Token?

Provide liquidity to following pools:

• WBTC, ETH, 1KX(1KX token), USDT, USDC, DAI, Link, etc.

• Borrow on 1KX

• Trade on 1KX

• Refer a friend

• Use 1KX regularly to be qualified for airdrop

This is what their official documentation says but let's focus on the last part for now. It seems that using 1KX on a regular basis will make you eligible for the airdrop. Luckily this requires no investment whatsoever because the Dapp is deployed on Zk Sync Testnet. To get access to it simply go to the home page and do the following:

• Click on Connect Wallet and connect your Metamask to the website

• If you don't have Zk Testnet on your list of networks the website will add it for you, don't worry

• Switch the network to Zk Sync Testnet if needed and request funds from the faucet

It may take some time for the tokens to arrive so be patient and check after 15 minutes or so. Once you get them try swapping one for another and adding liquidity in the "Pools" tab.

Here you will be able to see single token liquidity in action and maybe even get a glimpse of the future of DeFi.

Be sure to check back every once in a while (probably smart to perform actions daily) and keep testing the Dapp. There is no official Airdrop date announcement yet so this one will probably require some patience and consistency.
