How are you doing today, Today is a very special day to me. This is because my mom would be celebrating her birthday today. Most at times when it’s time for her birthday I would not be at home but rather in school so I would just call her and wish her a happy birthday without being there physically to give her a gift.
Well I’m fortunate I’m around this time around to wish her a happy birthday and all the best wishes that come along. This kept me thinking what should I do for her? Knowing my mum and how she is obsessed with hand bracelets, so I decided to make her one.
I quickly picked up my motor bike went to the nearest shop and bought the items I would need to make her a wonderful bracelet. I bought the beads (smaller ones and the bigger ones) and I also bought cord (rope). I got these items at a good bargain and came back home to start the process.
I bought about 12 black beads, 3 bigger shiny beads and 6 shiny-slim like metals put in between the black beads. I did a little maths here, in between 4 black beads I would put the shiny slim metals like this.
I continued to add another four black beads to both ends to make it a bit long and nicer. But before I did that, in other to make the bracelet strong, I used double strings. This is how it looked like after adding more black beads.
Now it was time to decorate the entire bracket with the big shiny beads. Trust me this is the finishing touch that the bracelet needed.
After adding the bigger beads, all that is left is to tire both ends of the string together. I had a little difficulty doing that because I cut the string too short. Maybe try to keep yours longer.
And boom I’m done. It looked small I didn’t know if it would fit so I had to try it on to see how it will look on her hand.
