After ~2 months and countless sleepless nights which often triggers my headache the day after, I finally caught on 'The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor's' latest translated English chapter release for it's light novel. (That's Volume 53 Chapter 3p1 to anyone who's asking! XD)
I have already shared some of my thoughts about that series on some of my blog posts here, but I would say it again that 'The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor' is by far one of the best series I have ever read and that includes all manga/manhwa/webtoon I have read since I was still in high school, so a pretty decent amount of series. XD
What probably sets this series aside from other series is the MC's (main character) personality. Unlike other MC's, Weed is not at all righteous and would only take actions that would 'profit' him.
He would do anything just to earn more money even if that means to exploit people around him or even his friends. To best describe him in one sentence: 'Weed is a devil incarnate that lives and breathes for money.'
Weed is probably also the only character I have ever seen to make 'realistic' choices. An example of this would be how he rejected the hidden 'legendary moonlight sculptor' job quest as his class job until it was forcibly given to him. If I were in his shoes too, even if it's one in a million job change, I would immediately reject it since what fun would it be to be playing as a sculptor in a game. XD
He's progress to being one of the top player in the game was also highly commendable. Unlike other series where the MC just immediately powers-up all of a sudden, his strength and power was a result of his non-stop grinding killing monsters and completing dungeons, his persistence and simply due to his hard-working personality.
He doesn't get sudden power-up's because his allies are in danger but he utilizes all his skills and techniques properly which I think other series should also follow. XD
Of course there are also some flaws that I see in this series, one of which is the side-character's development. Since it's mostly focused on the MC, we are only given a decent amount of details and emotional attachment to other characters. And some other tolerable flaws. XD
