Looking back there are a lot of things that have happened in my life, I have tried and failed , traveled to the most exciting places in the world, eaten interesting foods, loved and lost love, and found love again. Gotten married. It has been a journey. What matters most is the lessons I have learned a long the way and the people that have been there through out. I have learned to value people especially those who wont give up on you.
Life comes with seasons and without a manual on what to do about it. We try each day to do the best we can and pray that all will be well along the way. The journey will have bumps along the way but that is what makes it worth it. We meet people along the way who have different experience. I have learnt that people will come our way for various reasons. Some will come for a season, others for a reason and some will be there for a lifetime. You have to know why someone is in your life, learn as much as you can because it will help you further up the road when things get bumpy.
Someone said experience is the best teacher but we in most cases experience is an expensive teacher. The damage of experience may be very costly. Learn from those who have gone before us. My teacher used to say don’t make the same mistakes as those who have gone before you, learn from them and then make new mistake so that the next generation can learn from you and make new mistakes. The bar has to be higher for the next generation. We should fight our battles and win them so that our children will not have to fight the same battle. Let them fight new ones and face new challenges and use our foundation as a stepping stone
And finally, always remember where you have come from and never forget your creator. Always wake in the morning and give thanks to maker and commit the day to God. Be thankful for every new day that you get and live it to the best of your abilities.
