MY mother in law recently moved to Laughlin Nevada
Which is a about four hour drive depending on traffic.
We were headed over to help her get situated in to a house she had just bought. She is by herself and greatly needed our help, so I'm happy to oblige 👍
So, we prepared ourselves for a nice long drive, which went smoothly given the circumstances.
THE Operation was a little awkward.
Because our days off aren't the same, it turned out that we could travel there together but we would have to return separately.
(As I have to work tonight 😒)
A real bummer. I hate spending time away from Caroline and I know she feels the same. In the 5 years I've been stateside, I think we've only spent maybe 3 nights away from each other.
Not a comfortable feeling.
Though the car did help make the experience amazing
WE ended up getting a BRAND NEW 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid with under 100 miles on it.
(Practically an extended test drive)
The drive out was nice. I knew I would be returning alone at the crack of dawn, so I wanted to save my photo taking for then.
We arrived at around 4:00pm and ate dinner at a nice dinner at the Brew Brothers Tap House At the Tropicana Casino and hotel.

I had some fish and a few beers, and was in bed by 8:00pm (which is about 8 hours later than normal for me)
Before I knew it, it was 4:00am and I was ready to go.
The Drive Home
First thing's first. Got to get fuel! Shouldn't be too hard for a hybrid, right?

I would rather imbed that video somehow, but I can't figure out how?
Anyways, after a struggle I finally got the car some fuel.
(and a little for myself)
Before I knew it, I was off!
About an hour into the drive I pull over to admire the sunrise over the Sonora
one more shot
Absolutely breathtaking. My phone doesn't do it justice.
Perhaps one day I can invest some Steem earnings into an actual vlogging camera? 🤣 ... 🤔 one day.
3 hours in.
(Me with the fusion.)
BEFORE I knew it I was back home.
I delivered the car back safe and sound (and fueled). The pumps in Palm Springs don't seem to suffer from the same problems as in Bullhead, lol.
Thanks For Coming With Me
On this lonesome drive home.
I truly appreciate the company!
