HELLO HIVE
Each of these supply systems has its own pros and cons,s, so we just adjust to what we can get our hands on and make use of it in the best possible way to achieve what we desire.
To get a good power supply these days you have to spend a lot in my country or be in an environment where there are so many rich and influential people this is the main trigger to good electricity supply here that's the reason behind a lot of people struggling so hard to go beyond their means just to get housing units in a big estate where the electricity supply is good compared to so many rural areas.
Individually, I would explain how things are concerning solar, generator, and power grid. That way, you will be able to understand why I am stuck with whichever one I have decided to use.
Solar
A good source of electricity in places where they have found a way to harness it in a better way because of how cheap it is in the long run, but that's if you can afford to get it all at once rather than paying installment like many people around here do.
These installment payments find a way to inflate the price because of the interest that comes in after a while.
That's the financial part of things; now, to get a good power supply from solar that will power your house or farm, you will need to spend quite a lot to get large solar panels and the inverter before you can get a desirable result.
The high initial setup cost is the main reason behind the reduced amount of people using solar in their houses, farms, and shops.
But then this type of energy supply is actually clean and it has a low running cost after you've installed it.
Generator
Wow, this one provides an energy supply that is closest to the power grid, only that the amount of pollution that's released when operating this would make you believe it should be shut down had it been. Other forms were 100 times better than this.
The initial cost of acquiring generators is currently at a ridiculous price and the cost of gas or fuel to go with is also very expensive.
Operating this is hinged on one form of expense that we cannot control while generators generate a stronger electricity supply compared to solar, it is nowhere close to being as reliable as solar is.
Generators are more of a reliable backup than the main power source.
Power grid
Probably the one that's supposed to have the most potential, but it has failed in my country in so many ways; it is vulnerable to outages, especially in rural areas, and the monthly bills fluctuate all the time even when the supply isn't getting better.
But it is still stable to some extent in places where there are good arrangements on how to utilize this source especially when there are dams where we can generate this supply around.
For me to come to a consensus on which to use, I have to observe how often we lose power, my initial budget, and sustainability. That way, I can come to a final destination.
For now, I still stick with the power grid, looking at my budget and sustainability.
