And Jacob came near to Isaac, his father and his father gave him a kiss, and smelled the scent of his garment, and gave him a blessing saying,
Yes, the fragrance of my son is as the fragrance of a field on which Jehovah's blessing has come (Genesis 27: 27)
One of the reasons the Lord Jesus Christ came to this world and shed His holy, precious blood was to pave the way for us Gentiles to come under the blessing of Abraham instead of the curse of Adam.
So Apostle Paul informs us, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ (Gal 3: 13 -14). So through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross of Calvary, we the Gentiles who have believed in Christ and in Christ are connected to an inheritance of blessing pronounced on Abraham by God. This blessing is the blessing of the Lord, which makes a man prosperous and successful with no sorrow attached to it (Prov 10: 22). This blessing was passed on to Isaac, Abraham's heir, and he turn, pronounced it on Jacob. Isaac invoked this blessing in the name of the Lord, the God of Abraham on Jacob, by saying, "the blessing Yahweh bestowed on a man that makes his life, his possessions, even his clothing emits fragrance of favour rest on Jacob". When this blessing came upon Jacob, he had nothing, only a staff, a backpack and a cruise of water, yet lying on a stone in the middle of nowhere could connect him to open Heaven, to a heavenly ladder and to the ministry of angels and into a prophetic destiny of a revealed and assured future.
It's my prayer and desire that as you have come into this season of the second quarter of this year, and in this new day, week and month, this blessing ordained in Christ for those in Christ, whose precious blood has redeemed and ransomed, flow into and rest upon your life, family and possessions that you begin to walk in divine favour, emit fragrance of Favour in Jesus name. May this Abrahamic blessing connect you to open heavens, financial, material, business and ministry ladders that will catapult you to the top of life to the shock and shame of your enemies. May even stones help you, the weather support you, people you don't even know come to your aid, the elect angels minister to you, being in nowhere in life become a platform to launch you to your God appointed destiny. May the Lord reach out to you on time, satisfy you this season with favour, and favour upon favour to make you full, sufficient and overflowing with the good things that this world afford in Jesus name. I ask the Lord, mighty in battle, strong in power, to command victories you, breakthroughs in areas you are stacked, blessing and enabling power upon you, even healthy life, fitness and peace forever more this season. May Jehovah's face shine on you and be gracious to you. May He turn His glorious face towards you and give you His peace, His joy, His strength, His power and His honour for a dignity, fulfilling, fruitful and successful life this second quarter in Jesus name. Amen
