About this post, we can agree that modernization comes with it's ups and downs.
That's humanity
We solve problems while creating other problems in the process. There's always going to be a problem that's created by solving a bigger problem.
But we take solace in the fact that side effects and ripple effects will always be inevitable, and this is why the hunt for knowledge will always be endless.
For example, during the world war, the nation with the latest tech had the opportunity to win the war. So knowledge itself is a weapon, people want to use the latest knowledge or information to have the upper hand against their fellow humans.
Knowledge is a weapon
the money knowledge can buy is unimaginable, and this is why the human race will always strive and aim and fight for mind-bending knowledge that'll always shift the narrative in their favor.
This translates to the kind of life we currently have, and the future we are heading into. I don't know what the future will be like, but the search for knowledge comes with its consequences.
People seek knowledge to liberate themselves, and this is why information will become more expensive and exclusive with time.
On the flip side of this, knowledge is power, even if I feel that too much of it can be very dangerous. However, away from the libration it brings, people need it to establish fulfillment and happiness and they're stipulated to have, just to match the excesses of things they now require to be happy or established.
One of the most important sectors in the world that needs refining is the educational system. For example, it's time to stop teaching people that education is the key to making wealth.
While this might have worked as a motivation in the past to encourage people to seek education, it's now important to understand that education is a self-development tool that does not influence or determine who is going to be wealthy or not.
The world is filled with more pressing issues, things that could be taught in schools, and inculcated in young people to help them develop into problem-solving machines. Personal finance management is one of the most pressing issues in the world,
While it's true that no one can be qualified enough to master and teach it, I believe that most educational system in the world ignores the most salient issues in the world that needs solving, to concentrate and impart hardly beneficial knowledge.
Things like coding, personal finance, skill acquisition, stress & pressure management. Handling life expectancy, understanding social skills and acquisition, and many more as well.
The knowledge we need to survive in life at the moment is different from the knowledge we used to need. It's important to always recognize the trend of change, and come up with creative ways to handle the life issues that come with the trend and evolution of life.
At the end of the day, everyone needs knowledge.
Having exclusive knowledge makes people sought-after, the richest people in the world offer exclusivity, but I believe that there's just about enough knowledge in the world to enrich everyone.
However, it's not like everyone to seek adequate knowledge to make themselves comfortable. The comfort or happiness of some people requires having all the money in the world, hence knowledge is often hoarded and sometimes it becomes too expensive to acquire.
Unfortunately, this is how it'll always be. There is knowledge that can only be acquired by power or having the right connections. At the end of the day, we'll always need more, and sometimes, we might not be able to control how far we can go.
