Hello community, I hope you all have a great start of the week, today I would like to share part of my trading experience in the Forex market last week, wow, it was really emotionally intense. I must say that I was on a good run, generally in the positive, but often things happen that you can't control, but really most things in the market you can't control, or can you?
A couple of weeks ago I shared an article about the importance of learning to manage losses here's the link if you want to check it out . I confess that my experience is not of years, but just a few months, but as I want to take this very seriously, I have to improve certain things, and I come to some conclusions that I like to share so I can then read your impressions and recommendations of more experienced people in the comments section.
So let's get started, stay with me until the end.
As I mentioned before, the market is difficult to understand, it is full of manipulations by big whales, big capital holders, that can make with some money movements that the market goes in a direction opposite to what you expect, also some breaking news can make that there is a disturbance in what is happening in the market numbers, so this is something we have to be aware of, We CANNOT CONTROL THE MARKET, at the end it is about probabilities, it is not an exact science.
Based on the above, and having that very clear, I can say without a doubt that the best thing to do is the following:
Focus on those aspects that we can control.
Within all this madness of probabilities for and against, we must keep in mind that our operation and what is implicit in it is really what we do have control over, for example, "risk ". It is up to us the level of capital we want to risk in one or more transactions, which means that we must determine what percentage of our capital we want to risk, How much?, 1%, 2%, 3%, this is something that only we can define, each trader must assume this as a factor controlled by him, so that if it happens, it simply does not affect him because it was already foreseen.
Last week there were some great samples of market manipulation, in which based on the same strategies that have made me win operations, they were negative, when I thought that everything was going in the direction thought, simply the opposite happened for a period of time to take out of StopLoss to many, and then entered in the direction previously analyzed. But that's how it is, that usually happens, which at least in that same operation does not generate you confidence to enter, since it could be manipulated again... and that you cannot control.
So it is very simple, you have to assume that you are not in control of this, it is transcendental for anyone who is dedicated to trading, perhaps that is why it is something that many do not like, because of the risks involved in this profession, but those who like the adrenaline is something we can enjoy.
The training process in this never ends, the market does not change the rules, because basically it does not have them, at least in my opinion. Being moved by multiple global factors makes it a kind of autonomous entity and perhaps a little irrational, that's why many times reason is not enough to understand it.
For now I say goodbye, hoping that this tip will be of help or guidance for those who are entering this complicated and risky world.
Thank you very much for reading me.
Have a great week.
