Hello Hives! This is my first post, let me introduce myself. My name is Kaifin Prastyo, that's what it says on the ID card. You can call me Kevin because Kaifin was a scribe's mistake when writing the name on the day I was born which in the end I liked the unique name. I am now 28 years old, and for 25 years until now I have lived in South Tangerang, a city that secretly fills more than half of my life. So, please let me tell you just a few chapters about myself in this first article of mine.
CHAPTER I. Home
My memories start in the city of South Tangerang. It says on my ID card, I was born in the city of Kebumen, Central Java, "you've only been there for 3 months", my mother told me. After that I was taken to Jakarta, precisely in the area of Jembatan Lima, then moved again to Cipete, and finally I entered the city of South Tangerang, although I still moved from place to place, but the location was still in the city of South Tangerang, because my parents were not able to afford it bought a house at that time. I do not remember at all about my life outside the city of South Tangerang. Maybe because I was a baby at the time. At the age of 3 I just moved into a house in this city, and I still vaguely remember the inside of my first house, the road leading to it, and the smell of the market. Because my first house in South Tangerang is not far from the market. I moved three times in this city. In third place is the house that I have lived in for 21 years. This is a house built from the hard work of my parents. the smell of the walls is like father's sweat. The floor gleamed like mama's tears when she prayed.
CHAPTER II. Dreams of being a writer
When I was in junior high school, I heard a teacher read Chairil Anwar's poem in front of the class, entitled "I". Immediately I was amazed by the words spoken by my teacher. He also told about Chairil Anwar. That's when I found out about the profession as a writer. I wanted to be a writer for a silly reason, in order to create cool sentences.
My hobby is listening to music while leaning on the terrace of the house accompanied by a cup of coffee. If you are in that position, the reality is lost for a moment. Only the images dance in my head. Then I was too solemn to stay away from real. In the end, I didn't have time to write down the words. That's the short story why I haven't realized my dreams yet. Until finally I found out the Hive platform which gave me more energy to write. Because the Hive platform is very easy to access using a smartphone, and very user friendly. I love being able to connect with so many people who share the same interests here. Then on the Hive platform I felt I had the opportunity to develop myself and realize my dreams. Thank you Hive. I also thank for allowing me to join the circle of friends on the Hive platform. Hopefully we can share fun things with each other in the future. All good things go to you readers.
CHAPTER III. Street Reading
I love reading. Not just a text. I read the things I see, think and hear. I understood this when I worked as an online driver. Almost every day I read a lot of things on the streets. Like novels, there are stories that end sadly. There are stories that have a happy ending. There is also a story that hangs unclear at the end. And I more often find the unclear end. Everything I read all day I always end by leaning on the terrace while listening to music accompanied by a cup of coffee.
Thank you for reading. Sorry if my introduction was not pleasant. Because life isn't always about having fun, right? But I hope those of you who are reading this have a wonderful day like when you first fell in love. See you!
