Saludos mis muy apreciados amigos amantes de la costura,es un gusto volver a saludarlos y compartir con todos ustedes un nuevo proyecto. Hoy les traigo la confección de una Confortable Almohada viajera para cuello, éste es un accesorio que no debe faltar en nuestro hogar, ya que no solo la podemos usar para viajar, si no también, la podemos tener como parte de nuestro grupo de almohadas que usamos en nuestra cama o en el sofá; en mi caso, la usaré más en la cama que para viajar, ya tendré tiempo para eso, aunque viajé tanto por carretera cuando me mudé de varios países, que ya no me quedaron muchas ganas 😃😃.

Today I bring you the making of a Comfortable Traveling Neck Pillow, this is an accessory that should not be missing in our home, since we can not only use it to travel, but also, we can have it as part of our group of pillows that we use in our bed or on the couch; in my case, I will use it more in bed than to travel, I will have time for that, although I traveled so much by road when I moved from several countries, that I no longer had much desire 😃😃.

1/2 Metro de tela polar estampada.
Un pequeño trozo de tela polar blanca.
Patrón de las almohadas.
Relleno.
Cinta métrica.
Tijeras.
Máquina de coser.

1/2 Meter of printed fleece.

Para la confección de ésta confortable almohada, comenzaremos sacando los patrones de las dos almohadas, en este caso, saqué el patrón en forma de "U" en la tela estampada y el patrón rectangular en la blanca.

To make this comfortable pillow, we will start by taking out the patterns of the two pillows, in this case, I took out the "U" shaped pattern in the printed fabric and the rectangular pattern in the white one.

Una vez que hayamos sacado nuestros patrones, comenzaremos a armar en primer lugar la almohada pequeña, es decir, la almohada rectangular, para ello cortaremos una pequeña tira de 16 cm de largo y 4 cm de ancho, a esta tira le hacemos su costura para unir sus extremos y darle un mejor acabado.

Once we have taken out our patterns, we will begin to assemble the small pillow first, that is, the rectangular pillow, for this we will cut a small strip of 16 cm long and 4 cm wide, to this strip we make its seam to join its ends and give it a better finish.

Luego colocaremos la orilla de uno de los extremos de la tira, por el borde de las dos piezas enfrentadas derecho con derecho de la almohada rectangular.

Then we will place the edge of one of the ends of the strip, along the edge of the two facing pieces right to right of the rectangular pillow.

Pasamos costura por todo el borde, dejando un pequeño espacio por donde desdoblaremos la tela e introduciremos el relleno.

We sew along the entire edge, leaving a small space where we will unfold the fabric and introduce the filling.

Cuando tengamos lista nuestra almohada rectangular, procedemos a armar nuestra otra almohada en forma de "U" aplicando el mismo procedimiento de coser todos los bordes exteriores e inferiores dejando un pequeño espacio para introducir el relleno.

When we have our rectangular pillow ready, we proceed to assemble our other pillow in the shape of a "U" applying the same procedure of sewing all the outer and lower edges leaving a small space to introduce the filling.

Después de haber pasado costura por los bordes de la almohada en forma de "U" procedemos a introducir el relleno y antes de cerrar el agujero o la abertura, introducimos el extremo de la tira por allí y cerramos con costura manual.

After sewing the edges of the pillow in a "U" shape, we proceed to insert the stuffing and before closing the hole or opening, we insert the end of the strip through it and close it with a hand stitch.
