The university education system in Nigeria is a different altogether .
This kind of education system that put people into thinking and also making a different choice from their initial choice and plan.
Higher institutions in Nigeria and their patterns have really lead some into selecting course of choices that they did not plan for even from the onset of admission.
Sometimes when purchasing jamb we do this with happiness and joy hoping to get admission into our choice school, with that course of our choice but at the end the reverse is usually the case.
It always end in away where by after writing jamb some will not reach cut-off mark , while some will reach been happy that the reach the cut-off mark by jamb , the institution in question will present you with their own exam called the post-utme examination and also fix their own departmental cut-off mark .
Sometimes after writing all these the school will at the end divert you from that course of choice and give you a course you never dreamt of studying even in the nearest future .
But due to the system of the school you will find yourself in it . But with no choice all you have to do is accept and continue trying to switch over maybe in your year 2 or thereabout, but before you know it you will see yourself in final year with full of imaginations of your year 2 switching over .
This happened to w friend of my who bought a jamb form with the hope of studying nursing in the university,but after passing the jamb and getting the cut off mark , reaching the school he was now presented with the school post-utme examination but after it he still score high, but guess what,
He was giving admission into the school to study microbiology .
That was how that my man lost the hope of nursing and find himself in microbiology..
Honestly the system of the higher education over here is a different thing that changes people mind make them to believe that education is scam like most people say.
This have really changed some people from their plan of what to become in future in becoming another which they did not plan of becoming.
