It's freezing again. I'm ready for Winter to end. If I were in southern California right now it wouldn't be too bad. My friend there tells me about 70 degree temps almost year round.
I was in LA one February on business some time ago. Free hotel, rental car, air fare, daily spending money. Great trip I'll always remember. It was in the upper 70s that week.
When I hear California songs like California Sun it always reminds me of my time there.
Yesterday the young rock ladies known as The Linda Lindas released their cover of The Ramones cover of an early 60s original. The music sounds very much like The Ramones but the vocals are young female which is what this band is, 4 younger ladies.

And going back another decade or so, we have the original hit by The Rivieras. The video added to the music is a series of clips of characters dancing from popular 60s TV shows. I see the Addams Family, Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan's Island and the Patty Duke Show. What shows do you recognize?
