I started this story-hunt contest last week and tried to involve the community in helping Hive account@archisteem to get more stories listed in the project, 1001 Places to Remember. The last contest, there were two submissions by Hive account@lightcaptured and Hive account@fitinfun. Here are the summary of their 'hunted' stories.

However, the story that Hive account@lightcaptured had been curated by Hive account@archisteem. Thus, the 1st session for this contest has only one SBI unit winner, that is Hive account@fitinfun! Congratulations!

So, here we go again. I would like to do a weekly contest for this story-hunt until Hive account@archisteem has fully compiled 1001 stories for the project.

For your information, Hive account@archisteem has been working hard on curating and collecting stories since 30 April 2018 (whereby our first story was Hive account@orangila’s post) That really brings back a lot of memories. Since then, we had been accumulating stories and curate 888 stories thus far and qualifying 800 stories for the project. Now there are around 200 stories more to go to complete the compilation, we are hoping to have more people involve and join the fun in searching for great contents for the project.

So, here is another new scheme coming up for the community to participate. We will be putting up posts that enable the community to drop any stories or authors that you think should be included in our project. Just dropped the URL or profile link of the author at the comment section below and the team will look through to see whether we can get them into the publication.
As of now, I am using my account to experiment with this scheme whether it works or not.

What Hive account@archisteem is looking for?

A story that includes the element of place, people and memory
A story with at least 3 or more original photos
No plagiarism strictly
If you are not sure about what to look for, feel free to check out our previous winners’ stories to look for example.

How to participate in the hunt?

Browse through and search for your favourite author or feeds
Identify stories that qualify with the criteria above
Copy the URL
Paste it under the comment section, with your own justification on the reason you are recommending the story

What to expect after that?

I will personally go through every story and give feedback by replying to your comment
I will select 5 nominators to win the prize.

The prize will be 1 SBI for each winner!

Reason for me to reward SBI unit is that I believe that all the nominators are people that actively engage with the community and they usually create content or curate content more often. Thus, they will have more knowledge on where to find great contents. SBI unit is a form of support system where it rewards both contributor and beneficiary party with upvotes. I think this will be a mutual way for us to grow together and honed better relationship too!
