I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been really dragging since Easter. Probably too much sodium and not enough balance in my diet, but at least I’ve been getting out for morning walks. It’s probably also hot enough that it’s messing with my sleep, though I don’t recall waking up during the night.
I’ve still been hitting my word count goals for my Year of a Million Words project. I decided to try writing a post for my writer’s blog every weekday for a couple weeks to see if that works to boost traffic, starting today. I’m trying out a mix of my usual 1000+ word articles with shorter lists and other non-traditional posts to find some potential sweet-spots and create content for a navigation page that’ll break down my favorite writing resources by what I feel they help with.
Class-wise, this week is dangerous because I have one thing due tomorrow and then nothing else that’s due before Sunday. I need to make sure that I balance things out appropriately to keep everything ahead of schedule, and I’d like to have another weekend where I don’t have any school stuff to do on Sunday.
Still, I’m four weeks away from finishing my classes and semi-officially graduating. I’m not sure how the degree conferral process finishes, but “I’ve got all my results in and I’m getting my degree” is usually sufficient since the official transcript will show that.
Aspects of Sand didn’t get much progress the last couple days. I’ve been doing a little outlining and coming up with some Act 2 events, but they’re all in the future and I need to finish writing Act 1 stuff so I can post it up on Wattpad. I was hoping to post stuff today but then I didn’t, but I’ll get it out tomorrow. Should be several chapters, if I can get them up to my standards.
