Hi Needleworkers! I hope you are doing very well this new Monday 💗. Today I want to show you this lingerie project: it’s a white lace bralette! A bralette is a simple bodice to make and has very little fabric as you can see.
¡Hola trabajadores de la aguja! Espero que se encuentren muy bien este nuevo lunes 😃. Hoy quiero mostrarles este proyecto de lencería: ¡se trata de un bralette de encaje blanco! Un bralette es un corpiño sencillo de hacer y lleva muy poca tela como pueden ver.
To make this garment I recycled an old T-shirt that I had. I trimmed the ruffles and I was left with a wide strip of lace. I was very lucky in this because the size was perfect to cut the fabric to the shape I needed.
Para hacer esta prenda reciclé una remera vieja que tenía. Le recorté los volados y me quedó una tira ancha de encaje. Tuve mucha suerte en esto porque el tamaño me quedó perfecto para recortar la tela con la forma que necesitaba.
To form the cups of the bodice you need 4 equal pieces. I joined them in pairs using a zig-zag stitch and then sewn them in the front for a neater result.
Para formar las copas del corpiño se necesitan 4 piezas iguales. Las uní de a dos usando puntada zig-zag y luego le pasé una costura por el frente para obtener un resultado más prolijo.
Then I sewed picot elastic on the edge of the pieces. I first sewed it in the front with the peaks inward and then turned and sewn it again so that the spikes were facing out. The final finish is very neat.
Luego cosí elástico picot en el borde de las piezas. Primero lo cosí por el frente con los picos hacia adentro y luego lo giré y cosí de nuevo para que los picos queden hacia afuera. El acabado final es muy prolijo.
For the strap around the underbust I used the same elastic and added a small hook and a barrette to fasten the bodice. For the straps I only placed some strips that join the cups with the back.
Para la tira que rodea el bajo-busto usé el mismo elástico y añadí un pequeño gancho y un pasador para abrochar el corpiño. Para los breteles solo coloqué unas tiras que unan las copas con la espalda.
And this was the end result!

My idea is to make this a small business. I want to start selling to my friends to get some extra money. I think this bralette is very easy to do, as well as sensual for those moments of… you know 😏.
Mi idea es hacer de esto un pequeño negocio. Quiero empezar vendiendo a mis amigas para obtener algo de dinero extra. Pienso que este bralette es muy sencillo de hacer, además de sensual para esos momentos de… ya saben 🔥.
