Hello everyone, how are you doing? I am here again to tell you all about my trip and my travel story. This time I want to share what happened to us when we decide to go out and have some fun. It was really a great experience and I just can’t wait to tell you everything that we did and saw. So just sit back relax and read along because this story is really good!
Honestly the weather was just so crazy hot. It was summer time and the sun was really burning down on us. We were sweating so much just standing there and it felt like our bodies were literally melting. It was really uncomfortable and we could not enjoy anything because of the heat. We knew right away that we needed to find a place where we could cool down and freshen up immediately.
So we thought of places to go and someone suggested Dicaloyungan River. We heard that the water there is really cold and clean perfect for beating the heat. This beautiful place is located in Sitio Dicaloyungan Barangay Zabali right here in Baler, Aurora. It is not that far away from the town proper so it was very easy for us to go there. It seemed like the perfect plan to escape the hot weather.
We packed our bags quickly prepared our things and then we left. The ride going there was actually really fun. We were all excited and talking happily inside the car. As we got closer to the location we noticed that the surroundings were full of trees and mountains. The air started to feel cooler and fresher already. We were all just smiling and looking forward to seeing the river with our own eyes.
When we finally arrived at the place our reaction was just "wow". It was even more beautiful than what we expected. The place looked so natural and peaceful not too crowded at all. You can see the river flowing smothly and everything around was so green and alive. It really felt like we found a little paradise hidden away from the city. The vibe was just so relaxing the moment we stepped out of the vehicle.
One thing that really caught my attention was how clear the water was. You could literally see every single rock and stone at the bottom of the river. It was so transparent and sparkling under the sunlight. It didn't look dirty or muddy at all it looked very fresh and safe to swim in. Seeing how clean it was made us even more excited to get in. It looked so inviting and refreshing.
We didn't waste any time changing our clothes. As soon as we were ready we ran and jumped straight into the river. Oh my gosh the feeling was incredible! The water was so cold it made us shiver a little bit. But it felt so good! All the heat and stickiness on our skin just disappeared right away. It was exactly what we needed to cool down our bodies. It was such a big relief.
After staying in the water for a few minutes we felt like totally new people. The hot temperature outside was completely gone. Our bodies felt light cool and so fresh. It was like the cold water washed away all our tiredness and stress. We just floated there and enjoyed the moment. The sound of the water flowing was also very relaxing. We were all just happy and enjoying the coldness.
Of course, we did not just stay still in one place. We started playing around, splashing water at each other. We were chasing each other and swimming from one side to another. There were also parts where there were small cascades or mini waterfalls. We stood under them and let the water hit our backs it felt like a natural shower and massage. We were acting like little kids again just having the best time ever.
When we got tired from swimming and playing, we climbed up on the big rocks along the side. The rocks were smooth and nice to sit on. We just sat there letting the water flow around us while drying up a little bit. The view from there was really nice. You could see the trees on both sides and the river stretching out. It was a perfect spot to just chill talk and take a rest before going back in the water again.
What I loved most was the surroundings. Both sides of the river were full of tall trees and plants. It was so green and lush everywhere. Because of the trees the whole place was very shady so even if the sun was bright we didn't feel the heat directly. It felt like we were inside a big natural air conditioned room. The air was fresh and clean nothing like the pollution in the city. It was really good for us.
Since we were there for quite a long time we got hungry. We took out all the food we brought and had a little picnic. We ate on the banks under the shade of the trees. Eating while listening to the sound of the river and the wind blowing was just perfect. The food tasted even better because we were relaxed and happy. Sharing meals with friends in a place like that is really one of the best feelings ever.
We also made sure to capture memories so we took lots of photos and videos. Every angle was picture perfect! The clear water the rocks and the green background made every shot look amazing. Even just using our phones the photos turned out great. We took group photos and individual shots too. It’s definitely a place you want to post on social media because it is just so beautiful and scenic.
There is also an old steel bridge there called Tulay ng Dicaloyungan. We walked on it to see the view from above. Looking down from the bridge, you can really see how wide and beautiful the river really is. It was a bit exciting walking on it because you can see the water below, but it was fun. It gave us a different view of the place and it was another good spot for taking photos as well.
Time went by so fast and before we knew it it was already late afternoon. We really did not want to go home yet because we were having so much fun. But we had to go because it was getting late. Overall our trip to Dicaloyungan River was a huge success. It was exactly what we needed to escape the summer heat. The location is great the water is cold and the vibe is peaceful. We will definitely come back here again soon!
