My Second Gold Foil Legendary Card! + 40 Rebellion Packs Opened + My Last Rebellion Cards Upgrades
On Splinterlands I have two main goals that I would like to achieve as quickly as possible:
- accumulate 100K SPS staked
- return to playing stably in Modern Format's Gold+ leagues.
My accumulation goal for SPS tokens is closely related to my game goal and thus my game results because playing in Modern Format's Gold+ leagues guarantees a much higher gain in SPS tokens per win than in Silver and Bronze leagues.
In the last season ended on January 15, I did not reach my game goal because I finished season number 126 in the Silver I league with a rating = 1702.
This season I definitely want to get back to playing in the Gold+ leagues from which I have been missing for two seasons, and to achieve this playing goal of mine I must continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection with a special focus on the new cards of the Rebellion set.
This season I will wait until my energy bar reaches maximum to start playing and will start in the Silver III league.
To continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of cards usable in Modern Format today I purchased 40 Rebellion packs from Hive Engine.
To make this purchase I performed the following steps:
- I transferred 159K DEC from my in-game wallet to my Hive Engine wallet.
- then I used the SWAPS functionality of Hive Keychain to convert 159K DEC to 431.21 SWAP.HIVE
To purchase 40 Rebellion packs I spent a total of 430.00 SWAP.HIVE which based on today's market value on January 16, 2024 is equivalent to a dollar value = $146.20
I was initially undecided whether to buy the Rebellion packs or just buy some cards from the market but then I decided to buy the Rebellion packs because the difference between estimated value and purchase value on Hive Engine was a positive value.
I was right to choose to buy 40 Rebellion packs because for the second time in a row I received a nice surprise in opening the packs.
In fact four days ago I found my first legendary Rebellion Gold Foil card: Daarg Deadblast
Today 4 days later I found a second Rebellion Gold Foil legendary card: DEMISE ARCHON FAUST
DEMISE ARCHON FAUST is a card that has a lower market value than Daarg Deadblast Gold Foil but still has a good market value: 84.99$
In the following screenshots you can see all the 200 Rebellion cards I found inside the 40 Rebellion packs I opened today.
Today I didn't have enough potions to open 40 Rebellion packs and I had my wife open the packs because she had a lot of potions available in her Splinterlands account: Link opening.
Today, January 16, 2024, the estimated value of 1 Rebellion pack is $3.85.
Estimated value is not a certain value, but it is a good starting point for deciding whether to buy packs of cards or not.
I never buy a pack of cards if the estimated value is less than the purchase value unless I expect a large increase in the value of packs or cards in the future.
Based on the estimated value I should have found cards with a total estimated value = $154.
Today I was lucky because to purchase 40 Rebellion packs I spent 430.00 SWAP.HIVE = $146.20 and found 200 cards that have an estimated total value = $216.41
I realized an estimated profit = +70.26$
I immediately put 130 of the 200 Rebellion cards I found today up for sale and for which I have no short-term upgrade goals including the gold foil legendary card I found today.
I will reuse the profit I get from selling Rebellion cards to buy more Rebellion packs and/or more Rebellion cards.
To date I have purchased 456 Rebellion packs and spent a total of 4950.40 SWAP.HIVE = $1683.13
In 456 open Rebellion packs I found 2280 cards.
I kept 852 BCX in my collection.
I have sold 1199 BCX
I have 229 BCX for sale.
Thanks to the cards I found today in the 40 packs I opened, I was able to take further steps in building my Rebellion deck:
- Ujurak Mystic: level 1 -> level 5
I am glad to have Ujurak Mystic level 5 because thanks to the Void ability it will be a very useful card for me in battles with the Wands Out ruleset.
Now, in battles with the Wands Out ruleset, I can use a card combination of Earth + Neutral elements that is able to heavily decrease my opponent's magic attack (-3).
- Nalara Geinek: level 2 -> level 3
The usefulness of having cards with the Void ability in battles that have the Wands Out ruleset is the main motivation for my upgrade today of Nalara Geinek.
In battles with lots of available mana and with the Wands Out ruleset, Nalara Geinek will always be my first choice.
- Croire: level 2 -> level 3
Croire is a card that I really like because it has the Flank ability and I can use Croire in the first position and a card with melee attack in the second position that thanks to the Flank ability acquires the Reach ability and can also attack from the second position.
At Level 3 Croire acquires 1 more attack point but my short-term upgrade target is Level 4 where Croire acquires the Heal ability and becomes a much more useful card and harder to eliminate.
I end this post with a focus on the statistics of the Rebellion set sale which I like to monitor at more or less regular intervals of time thanks to the useful information on the Splintercards site.
It has now been 42 days since the start of the Rebellion set general sale and the rebellion packs burned are 8.2% of the initial total supply and have surpassed the total open packs (5.6%), the total packs transferred to the DAO (0.9%) and the total packs in circulation (0.8%).
If pack burning continues with this trend in the future, the number of Rebellion packs will be less than half of the initial supply, and this should allow Rebellion cards not to experience sharp and fast downward fluctuations.
In addition very soon Rebellion cards and Rebellion packs and also VOUCHER tokens will acquire a new use case because when the airdrop of Rebellion cards begins (planned by the end of January) it will matter how many Rebellion packs and Rebellion cards are kept and not sold unlike previous airdrops where only packs purchased from the Splinterlands Shop counted.
The mechanism of the next card airdrop (codename: Conflict) will be an additional element to support the value of the assets of the Rebellion set.
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my usable card collection in Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

La mia strategia di acquisto per il set Rebellion: 40 Pacchetti Ribellione aquistati e aperti + I miei ultimi potenziamenti
Su Splinterlands ho due obiettivi principali che vorrei raggiungere nel più breve tempo possibile:
- accumulare 100K SPS staked
- ritornare a giocare stabilmente nelle leghe Gold+ del Modern Format
Il mio obiettivo di accumulo per i token SPS è strettamente legato al mio obiettivo di gioco e quindi ai miei risultati di gioco perchè giocare nelle Gold+ del Modern Format garantisce un guadagno in token SPS per vittoria molto più alto rispetto alle leghe Silver e Bronze.
Nell'ultima stagione terminata il 15 gennaio non ho raggiunto il mio obiettivo di gioco perchè ho concluso la stagione numero 126 nella lega Silver I con un punteggio di rating = 1702.
Nella stagione in corso voglio assolutamente tornare a giocare nelle leghe Gold+ da cui manco da due stagioni e per raggiungere questo mio obiettivo di gioco devo continuare ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte con un focus particolare sulle nuove carte del set Rebellion.
In questa stagione aspetterò che la barra della mia energia raggiunga il massimo per iniziare a giocare e partirò dalla lega Silver III.
Per continuare ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format oggi ho acquistato 40 Rebellion packs da Hive Engine.
Per effettuare questo acquisto ho effettuato i seguenti passi:
- ho trasferito 159K DEC dal mio in-game wallet al mio Hive Engine wallet
- poi ho utilizzato la funzionalità SWAPS di Hive Keychain per convertire 159K DEC in 431.21 SWAP.HIVE
Per acquistare 40 Rebellion packs ho speso in totale 430.00 SWAP.HIVE che in base al valore di mercato di oggi 16 gennaio 2024 equivalgono ad un valore in dollari = 146.20$
Ero inizialmente indeciso se acquistare i pacchi Rebellion o se acquistare solo alcune carte dal mercato ma poi ho deciso di acquistare i pacchi Rebellion perchè la differenza tra valore stimato e valore di acquisto su Hive Engine era un valore positivo.
Ho fatto bene a scegliere di acquistare 40 Rebellion packs perchè per la seconda volta consecutiva ho ricevuto una bella sorpresa nell'apertura dei pacchi.
Infatti quattro giorni fa ho trovato la mia prima carta leggendaria Rebellion Gold Foil: Daarg Deadblast
Oggi a distanza di 4 giorni ho trovato una seconda carta leggendaria Rebellion Gold Foil: DEMISE ARCHON FAUST
DEMISE ARCHON FAUST è una carta che ha un valore di mercato inferiore a Daarg Deadblast Gold Foil ma ha comunque un buon valore di mercato: 84.99$
Negli screenshots seguenti puoi vedere tutte le 200 carte Rebellion che ho trovato all'interno dei 40 Rebellion packs che ho aperto oggi.
Oggi non avevo un numero di pozioni sufficiente per aprire 40 Rebellion packs e ho fatto aprire i pacchi a mia moglie che aveva molte pozioni disponibili nel suo Splinterlands account: Link opening.
Oggi 16 gennaio 2024 il valore stimato di 1 paccho Rebellion è 3.85$.
Il valore stimato non è un valore certo ma è un buon punto di partenza per decidere se acquistare dei pacchi di carte oppure no.
Io non acquisto mai un pacco di carte se il valore stimato è inferiore al valore di acquisto a meno che non prevedo un forte aumento del valore dei pacchi o delle carte in futuro.
In base al valore stimato avrei dovuto trovare carte per un valore totale stimato = 154$.
Oggi sono stato fortunato perchè per acquistare 40 Rebellion packs ho speso 430.00 SWAP.HIVE = 146.20$ e ho trovato 200 carte che hanno un valore totale stimato = 216.41$
Ho realizzato un profitto stimato = +70.26$
Ho messo immediatamente in vendita 130 delle 200 carte Rebellion che ho trovato oggi e per cui non ho obiettivi di upgrade di breve termine compresa la carta leggendaria gold foil che ho trovato oggi.
Riutilizzerò il guadagno che otterrò dalla vendita delle carte Rebellion per acquistare altri pacchi Rebellion e/o altre carte Rebellion.
Fino ad oggi ho acquistato 456 Rebellion packs e ho speso in totale 4950.40 SWAP.HIVE = 1683.13$
In 456 Rebellion packs aperti ho trovato 2280 carte.
Ho mantenuto nella mia collezione 852 BCX
Ho venduto 1199 BCX
Ho in vendita 229 BCX.
Grazie alle carte che ho trovato oggi nei 40 pacchi che ho aperto ho potuto effettuare degli ulteriori passi in avanti nella costruzione del mio Rebellion deck:
- Ujurak Mystic: livello 1 -> livello 5
Sono contento di avere Ujurak Mystic di livello 5 perchè grazie all'abilità Void sarà una carta molto utile per me nelle battaglie con la ruleset Wands Out.
Adesso, nelle battaglie con la ruleset Wands Out, posso utilizzare una combinazione di carte degli elementi Earth + Neutral che è in grado di diminuire pesantemente l'attacco magico del mio avversario (-3).
- Nalara Geinek: livello 2 -> livello 3
L'utilità di avere carte con l'abilità Void nelle battaglie che hanno la ruleset Wands Out è la principale motivazione del mio upgrade odierno di Nalara Geinek.
Nelle battaglie con molti mana disponibili e con la ruleset Wands Out, Nalara Geinek sarà sempre una mia prima scelta.
- Croire: livello 2 -> livello 3
Croire è una carta che mi piace molto perchè ha l'abilità Flank e posso utilizzare Croire in prima posizione e una carta con attacco da mischia in seconda posizione che grazie all'abilità Flank acquisisce l'abilità Reach e può attaccare anche dalla seconda posizione.
Al livello 3 Croire acquisisce 1 punto di attacco in più ma il mio obiettivo di upgrade di breve termine è il livello 4 dove Croire acquisisce l'abilità Heal e diventa una carta molto più utile e più difficile da eliminare.
Concludo questo post con un focus sulle statistiche della vendita del set Rebellion che mi piace monitorare a intervalli di tempo più o meno regolari grazie alle utili informazioni del sito Splintercards.
Sono trascorsi 42 giorni dall'inizio della general sale del set Rebellion e i pacchi Rebellion bruciati sono l'8.2% della total supply iniziale e hanno superato il totale dei pacchi aperti (5.6%), il totale dei pacchi trasferiti al DAO (0.9%) e il totale dei pacchi in circolazione (0.8%).
Se la bruciatura dei pacchi continuerà con questo andamento anche in futuro il numero dei pacchi Rebellion sarà inferiore alla metà della supply iniziale e questo dovrebbe permettere alle carte Rebellion di non subire forti e veloci fluttuazioni al ribasso.
Inoltre molto presto le carte Rebellion e i pacchi Rebellion acquisiranno un nuovo caso d'uso perchè quando inizierà l'airdrop delle carte Rebellion (pianificato entro fine gennaio) saranno importanti i pacchi Rebellion e le carte Rebellion mantenuti e non venduti a differenza dei precedenti airdrops dove contavano solo i pacchi acquistati dallo Shop di Splinterlands.
Il meccanismo del prossimo airdrop delle carte (codename: Conflict) sarà un ulteriore elemento che permetterà di supportare il valore degli assets del set Rebellion.
