I played a couple of nine basket rounds of disc golf this morning after the rain let up. Conditions were kind of wet so I just practiced with three discs.
In the evening my son and I did the same thing. We didn't score the round or anything and just played with a few discs. We were wanting to try out some new discs. When you are trying to learn how new discs fly it is best not to take things too seriously.
I got a Claymore disc to replace the one that I had lost. It flies just a bit differently and feels differently in the hand because of the difference in plastic. I like the new disc a lot and it seems a bit more stable and reminds me of the feel of my Bard disc.
I was feeling just a bit tired tonight and my drives were not coming out a well as I would like. How you feel physically can change how well you throw.
Here's a picture of a lily that was just opening up today:
There were originally five of them but only two survive now. One of them got dug up by the puppy. I replanted it elsewhere but I'm not sure if it is going to make it.
I don't think the weather around here is good for this particular lily.
I've been enjoying my music on the Raspberry Pi media server. It works pretty well now and I'm gradually digitizing my albums with my other computer and putting the mp3 files on a large external drive plugged into the Pi.
There's only 32 gigs on the SD card and I"ve used up about a third of it. I'm not sure if it is worth trying to do too much more on the Pi at this point and I'm thinking about my options. Apparently you can boot the Pi off an external USB drive but I think that is still in development. That would give plenty of space if I could set that up. I hate worrying about drive space halfway through setting up stuff but I might try it out anyway and see how it goes.
Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.
