Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un conjunto que hice de collar y pulsera reutilizando piezas de bambú. Se me rompió una cortina hecha con piezas de bambú y bolas de plástico y quise aprovechar esas piezas de bambú dándole una segunda utilidad y tomé cuatro cuentas de madera de colores que le quedaron a mi madre de un viejo collar que tenía y se le rompió, también cogí unas cuentas pequeñas y con todo eso conseguí este conjunto que ven que me gusta mucho para usar un día de playa.

Today I want to share with you a set I made of necklace and bracelet reusing bamboo pieces. I broke a curtain made with bamboo pieces and plastic balls and I wanted to take advantage of those bamboo pieces giving it a second use and I took four colored wooden beads that my mother had left from an old necklace she had and it broke, I also took some small beads and with all that I got this set that you see that I really like to wear a day at the beach.
I show you the materials I used and the process of elaboration.

Empecé a hacer el collar cortando el hilo elástico a 50 cm de largo e introduje las piezas de bambú, que en la primera parte eran 12 piezas.

I started making the necklace by cutting the elastic thread to 50 cm long and inserted the bamboo pieces, which in the first part were 12 pieces.

Después coloqué una pequeña cuenta roja y empecé a colocar las cuatro cuentas grandes de madera en el siguiente orden: verde oscuro, naranja, verde claro y rojo. En el centro de cada una coloqué una pequeña cuenta roja.

Then I placed a small red bead and started placing the four large wooden beads in the following order: dark green, orange, light green and red. In the center of each I placed a small red bead.

A continuación volví a colocar las 12 piezas de bambú y al final de cada una coloqué una pequeña cuenta roja. Para terminar el collar coloqué el cierre en ambos extremos, concluyendo así nuestro sencillo y bonito collar.

Next I placed the 12 bamboo pieces again and at the end of each one I placed a small red bead. To finish the necklace I placed the clasp at both ends, thus concluding our simple and beautiful necklace.

Para el pulso, corté hilo elástico de 50 cm y empecé a introducir las piezas de bambú, pero tomando los dos extremos del hilo elástico y pasándolos en sentido contrario por la misma pieza de bambú y así fui uniendo cada una de ellas, me gustó mucho el resultado porque de esta forma no es necesario poner cierre en el pulso teniendo en cuenta que el hilo es elástico.

For the pulse, I cut 50 cm elastic thread and began to introduce the bamboo pieces, but taking the two ends of the elastic thread and passing them in the opposite direction through the same piece of bamboo and so I was joining each of them, I really liked the result because in this way it is not necessary to put closure in the pulse considering that the thread is elastic.

Pensé que poner las piezas de bambú solas, aunque queda bonito, le faltaba colorido a la pulsera y decidí poner tres filas de cinco cuentas pequeñas rojas y verdes , para lograr dos filas verdes y una roja al centro, utilizando la misma técnica que con el bambú.

I thought that putting the bamboo pieces alone, although it looks nice, lacked colorful to the bracelet and I decided to put three rows of five small red and green beads, to achieve two green rows and one red in the center, using the same technique as with the bamboo.

Decidí utilizar la misma técnica que con el bambú, dejando tres filas en el centro de la pulsera, con colores muy similares a los del collar, me gustó mucho el resultado. Como explique anteriormente no es necesario el cierre, con un pequeño nudo fue suficiente. Así quedó el pulso.

I decided to use the same technique as with the bamboo, leaving three rows in the center of the bracelet, with colors very similar to those of the necklace, I really liked the result. As I explained before, no clasp is necessary, a small knot was enough. This is how the pulse looked like.

Ahora este sencillo pero hermoso conjunto está terminado, se ve muy alegre y no solo sirve para un día de playa, como había pensado inicialmente, en días soleados con un outfit alegre también se ve muy bonito.

Now this simple but beautiful set is finished, it looks very cheerful and not only useful for a day at the beach, as I had initially thought, on sunny days with a cheerful outfit it also looks very nice.

Bueno amigos es muy sencillo de hacer, solo hay que tener los materiales y un poquito de imaginación, pues hay materiales que vuelven a tomar vida en otros objetos, me gusto mucho darle una segunda oportunidad a estas piezas de bambú que nos acompañaron por mucho tiempo en forma de cortina, ahora nos acompañaran por más tiempo como prendas de bisutería.
