Leo Power Up Day is a day when users of the LeoFinance Front End perform a mass Power Up of the token project, because they trust its long term potential.

The Power Up is like a nicer name for the Stake, which is when we "hold" the tokens and are unable to trade them, and in return we can receive some benefits, such as more tokens for our wallet. You can withdraw them from the stake, but it will take a few weeks to do so.
This strategy is important in order to reduce the number of tokens in circulation and so increase their value.
In Leo's case, when you Power Up, you can receive upvotes from the curator profile, increasing your earnings on your posts.
The LPUD, as it is better known to members of the Leo community, happen every 15th of the month, and to take part you need to perform a few simple steps:
First: perform a Power Up of at least 150 LEO.
Second: make a post like this saying something related to the event and the amount of LEO that will be used for the Power Up.
Once you have done this, not only will you be contributing to the growth of the project, but you'll also be able to compete for some prizes, such as the delegation of some tokens, which will increase the value of your upvotes.
At this moment, I'm making a Power UP of 250 LEO, bringing my total to 660 Leo Power. It's still a low amount compared to the many users and members of the community, as I'm currently not in a position to contribute any more tokens.
I don't have a target yet for the amount of Leo Power, but I intend to continue making monthly contributions, however it's a small amount.
If I get a good position on Zealy campaign, I will keep some of the tokens
I've acquired to put more faith in this project, which I think has a great future.
By the way, are you already taking part in the campaign? There are 5,000 dollars in prizes for participants, not to mention what you can earn through posts and by using Leo's Front End.

O Power Up é um nome mais bonito para o Stake, que é quando "prendemos" os tokens e estamos impossibilitados de negociar eles, e em troca podemos receber alguns benefícios, como por exemplo mais tokens para nossa carteira. Você consegue retirá-los do stake, porém irá demorar algumas semanas para isso ocorrer.
Essa estratégia é importante para diminuir a quantidade em circulação, podendo assim ocasionar em uma valorização do mesmo.
No caso do Leo, ao realizar o Power Up, você terá o direito de receber upvotes do perfil de curadoria, aumentando seus ganhos em seus posts.
