Improving my cat drawings in pixel art style (ENG/ESP)

Today I share with you my second drawing of a beautiful cat in pixel art style.

This time this drawing has a size of 1000 pixels high by 1000 pixels wide, I wanted to make it a little bit smaller, but the truth the size doesn't matter much talking about the canvas in this kind of drawings, I wanted to draw a beautiful cat again, since I needed to practice to improve a little bit more my drawing style, so I have noticed a difference compared to the previous one.

El día de hoy les comparto mi segundo dibujo de un hermoso gato al estilo pixel art.


Esta vez este dibujo tiene un tamaño de 1000 píxeles de alto por 1000 píxeles de ancho, quería hacerlo un poco más pequeño, pero la verdad el tamaño no importa mucho hablando del lienzo en este tipo de dibujos, quería volver a dibujar a un hermoso gato nuevamente, ya que necesitaba practicar para mejorar un poco más mi estilo de dibujo, así que he notado una diferencia en comparación al anterior.

First I started to create empty circles to visualize the space where each of the structures of my cat will go, so I created 2 of the same size that will be the head and the body of this beautiful cat, then I created 2 more at the top to simulate the ears and finally I made 3 lines, 1 vertical and the other horizontal, these lines will be the separation between the eyes and the mouth.

Then, I lightened this same layer to be able to draw on it, and thanks to it it was much easier to draw my beautiful cat.

Primero comencé a crear vaciar circunferencias para visualizar el espacio donde irá cada una de las estructuras de mi gato, así que cree 2 del mismo tamaño que vendrán siendo la cabeza y el cuerpo de este hermoso gato, después cree 2 más en la parte superior para simular las orejas y por último hice 3 líneas, 1 vertical y la otra horizontal, estas líneas será la separación entre los ojos y la boca.


Seguidamente, aclarecí esta misma capa para poder dibujar sobre la misma, y gracias a ella fue mucho más fácil poder dibujar a mi hermoso gato.

Then I removed the previous layer to be able to leave only the silhouette of the cat, this process was done directly pixel by pixel, without any other tool than the grid that helps me to visualize my canvas from a pixelated perspective, and so it was much easier to draw my cat, although of course it is a somewhat extensive process, as it takes a lot of time.

When I finished with the previous layer, I started to work with the colors of my cat, first I wanted this to be black with white, as it reminds me a lot of a little cat I had, I also wanted this drawing to have a perspective as if the cat was looking out of a garden of rocks.

Luego elimine la capa anterior para poder dejar solamente la silueta del gato, este proceso fue realizado directamente pixel por pixel, sin ninguna otra herramienta más que la cuadrilla que me ayuda a visualizar mi lienzo desde una perspectiva pixelada, y así fue mucho más fácil dibujar a mi gato, aunque por supuesto es un proceso un poco extenso, ya que toma mucho su tiempo.


Al terminar con la capa anterior, comencé a trabajar con los colores de mi gato, primero quería que este fuera de color negro con blanco, ya que me recuerda mucho a una pequeña gata que yo tenía, también quería que este dibujo tuviera una perspectiva como si el gato estuviera asomado de un jardín de rozas.

When I finished placing the flat colors, I followed now the process of depths and shading, starting first with the lower part of the body, for the white, I used 2 types of tones a little darker to place a darker part than the base, and after this I continued with a tone a little lighter to create a gradient effect.

When I finished with the body, I started to work with the shading of her head and eyes, for the eyes I used 2 types of tones one darker than the other with their respective gradient, and to create a glow in the eyes, I made a small rectangle in the eyes, when I finished with them, I started to work with the depths of her face with a little darker tone, and for the ears I used almost a shade of black to create fur inside her ears.

Al terminar de colocar los colores planos, seguía ahora el proceso de profundidades y sombreado, comenzando primero con la parte inferior del cuerpo, para el blanco, use 2 tipos de tonos un poco más oscuros para colocar una parte más oscura que la base, y después de este continúe con un tono un poco más claro para crear un efecto de degradado.


Al terminar con el cuerpo, comencé a trabajar con el sombreado de su cabeza y los ojos, para los ojos usé 2 tipos de tonos uno más oscuro que el otro con su respectivo degradado, y para crear un brillo en los ojos, hice un pequeño rectángulo en los ojos, al terminar con ellos, comencé a trabajar con las profundidades de su rostro con un tono un poco más oscuro, y para las orejas use casi un tono de negro para crear pelajes dentro de sus orejas.
