Another year has passed! - So many wonderful and not so wonderful things happened over the year, and here we are again 9th of June and I am one year older!! - I guess some things will never change, like aging haha
So what happened this year? As I didn't tell you yet about everything I thought it would be nice to do a little overview! - where should I start?!
Last year on my birthday I had just gotten together with my girlfriend and we celebrated at the lake Starnberg together with some friends and family!
¡Ha pasado otro año! - Muchas cosas maravillosas y no tan maravillosas sucedieron durante el año, ¡y aquí estamos nuevamente el 9 de junio y yo tengo un año mas! - Supongo que algunas cosas nunca cambiarán, como envejecer jaja
Entonces, ¿qué pasó este año? Como todavía no les conté todo, ¡pensé que sería bueno hacer un pequeño resumen! - ¡¿donde debería empezar?!
¡El año pasado en mi cumpleaños me había reunido con mi novia y celebramos en el lago Starnberg junto con algunos amigos y familiares!
Ein weiteres Jahr ist vergangen! - Im Laufe des Jahres sind so viele wundervolle und nicht so wundervolle Dinge passiert, und hier sind wir wieder am 9. Juni und ich bin ein Jahr älter!! - Ich denke, einige Dinge werden sich nie ändern, wie das Altern, haha
Was ist dieses Jahr passiert? Da ich euch noch nicht alles erzählt habe, dachte ich, es wäre schön, einen kleinen Rückblick zu machen! - Wo soll ich anfangen?!
Letztes Jahr an meinem Geburtstag war ich gerade mit meiner Freundin zusammen gekommen und wir haben zusammen mit ein paar Freunden und der Familie am Starnberger See gefeiert!
A short time after that we went to check out lake Garda in italy on a spontaneous trip for a long weekend!
Poco tiempo después, fuimos a visitar el lago de Garda en Italia en un viaje espontáneo durante un largo fin de semana.
Kurze Zeit später machten wir spontan eine Reise für ein langes Wochenende zum Gardasee in Italien!
Then of course we went Paragliding in the Alps - you know all about that.

And later that summer we even went camping at another lake and tried out Stand up Paddling!

For the first time I went to Brussels, Belgium to check out the Manneken Pis.

And a loooong time friend of mine (omg we know each other 12 years now!!) from Chile came visit for a week.

My girlfriend and I found a really nice apartment right next to Munich,so we moved in together and went streight to the south of Spain for vacation the very next day.
Mi novia y yo encontramos un apartamento realmente lindo justo al lado de Munich, así que nos mudamos juntos y nos fuimos directamente al sur de España de vacaciones al día siguiente.
Meine Freundin und ich fanden eine wirklich schöne Wohnung direkt neben München, also zogen wir zusammen und machten uns gleich am nächsten Tag auf den Weg nach Südspanien, um Urlaub zu machen.
Of course I also improved my kitesurfing skills there!!

After that my best friend Fie from Denmark finally came to visit me here in Munich after meeting her all over the world!

Both of my parents remarried, and in February we went to our big trip to Mexico, just in time.

Only a few days after coming back Corona started, the borders were closed and with it many projects started, like puzzeling, playing card games, watching netflix, renovating the kitchen, the balcony, the office etc...
Solo unos días después de regresar Corona comenzó, las fronteras se cerraron y con él comenzaron muchos proyectos, como rompecabezas, juegos de naipes, ver netflix, renovar la cocina, el balcón, la oficina, etc.
Nur wenige Tage nach unserer Rückkehr fing Corona an, wurden die Grenzen geschlossen und damit viele Projekte gestartet, wie z. B. Puzzles, Kartenspiele spielen, Netflix schauen, die Küche, den Balkon, das Büro renovieren usw.
Which brings us here! Now the restrictions are getting less and borders are opening again soon! but still until we can travel it will take some time and trust!
So many bad things are happening this year and it is hard to watch the news without getting sad. I feel like something really big is going on and as we say in german "it is lying in the air".
So for my birthday I got a new Apple Watch to track my hikes (my phone was always dying) and we bought a lot of plants for the apartment, to bring the jungle to us 😉

Muchas cosas malas están sucediendo este año y es difícil ver las noticias sin entristecerse. Siento que algo realmente grande está sucediendo y, como decimos en alemán, "está en el aire".
Así que para mi cumpleaños obtuve un nuevo Apple Watch para rastrear mis caminatas (mi teléfono siempre se estaba muriendo) y compramos muchas plantas para el departamento, para traernos la jungla a casa 😉
Was uns hierher bringt! Jetzt werden die Beschränkungen langsam weniger und die Grenzen öffnen sich bald wieder! Aber bis wir wieder reisen können, wird es einige Zeit dauern und es braucht Vertrauen!
In diesem Jahr passieren so viele schlimme Dinge und es ist schwer, die Nachrichten zu sehen, ohne traurig zu werden. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass etwas wirklich Großes passiert und wie wir auf Deutsch sagen "es liegt in der Luft".
Zu meinem Geburtstag bekam ich eine neue Apple Watch, um meine Wanderungen zu tracken (mein Handyakku ist immer abgestorben), und wir kauften viele Pflanzen für die Wohnung, um uns den Dschungel nach Haues zu bringen 😉

So let's see if we can break this record today ;) I have to admit that sometimes I am really sad, that my friends are located all over the world and I hardly see them. But on days like this it feels pretty special to get birthday wishes from everywhere!
