What a special encounter with the little deer, and seeing footless Kevin twice! The poor bird looks like he's adapted well; at least he can forget about his feet when he's up in the air!
I am so sorry to hear that things turned out so horrid in the end, and I hope with all my heart that something good comes your way soon. I'm sure you work harder and get way more done than many 30-year-olds! Working with food is very hard work. People can be so ugly at times.
