Cross Field is a new hunting ground in which players could get spacetime time shards and upgrade their Aquarius Cube. The twist is that there are both peaceful and PK zones. The difference between the two aside from safety levels is that as you go deeper you'd encounter stronger opponents and with that the quality drops which are the shards, ice jade and frozen spacetime energy increases by leaps and bounds, especially if you compare Area 2 and Area13. The super rare tier III winter windshard is only dropped in Area 13 implying that there are rewards for risking farming there.
I'm still grinding in the first floor of the cross field which is the Wind Winter's Garden. In this zone your server is pitted to a random server and you fight for control over the said cross field for a certain amount of time. If I'm not mistaken it refreshes within a day. So, even if you have any guilds or kingdoms in your server you must work as a team against people from different server. This is very true when grinding in the PK zones as you need to stick as much as possible to lower your chances of dying.
The free time is limited to only 30 minutes per day in the cross field and if you want to extend you need some rare consumables like the Unstable Time Stones. This is the reason why most people don't really bother PK-ing because the time is limited. NNK has many different tasks and quests everyday unless someone is a bit insane he/she will find it bothersome to do PK.
Alas, I found someone quite insane the other day. The good thing about the free 30-mutes in the cross filed is that they stack like World Boss and Dimensional Border tickets. I was burning more than an hour of time when I decided to go AI mode since it was almost midnight and there's no other person near a secluded spot.
We failed the base capture so the enemy server has some sort of control over the field map. Most I've seen in my way through were enemies but when I found a seemingly safe spot I tried to test the waters. I waited for 10 minutes till I went AI mode and after another 15 minutes I notification popped that I died during that time.
My current character power is just a bit over 1.7M. That's why I made a choice. If the killer's CP is less than 2M I'd bother them until they give up farming and it's greater than 2M then let bygones be bygones as I'd just die if a pursue a useless endeavor. I can't really view the exact CP while targeting but I can find a clue based on their levels and how much time they'd take to eliminate the mobs of Area 13 which are the water type Skeleplasm and Mossy Monument. I figured out that we were relatively close in levels.
The problem was that the area that time was infested by their allies and they even have a guildmate by their side. Bu I didn't give as revenge was best when served cold. I waited a couple of minutes until they became comfortable then I struck. The skirmish between me and 3 players lasted for more than half an hour. They killed me twice. Once, if when I was in AI mode and the other one with the help of their 2.4M ally. I killed them 5 times, 2 were just passing by but since they are from the same server I also let them taste a bit of my frustrations. Hahaha.
And that was all for today. Thanks for reading and visiting.
