This is my first post in the Leo Finance community and my first recap of my account after my first year on the Hive Blockchain. And this is what my 2022 recap looks like.
My first year
My former neighbour turned me on to the Hive Blockchain, Ecency and PeakD in December 2021. I am very grateful to him for this, because it has opened up a new world for me in which I can make my greatest hobby, photography, accessible to a wide audience, and also earn something in the process.
So I started to publish several posts (2-4) a week with my pictures (2-10) and a bit of text. To write the posts I use PeakD, and to view the whole thing I use the Ecency app (all with Android smartphone). I now have 136 followers and follow 398 accounts.
Which Hive services I use
On the Hive Blockchain, I am without any prior knowledge of computer science (except streaming, searching for music or changing laptop batteries with moderate success) , programming, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency (except blowing money on Bitpanda with hundreds of swaps). After some time of posting, enjoying incoming upvotes and followers, upvoting myself and answering comments, I want to look deeper into the hive systems, and have started reading tutorials and getting more involved with the background mechanisms. Now I have already delegated a good 1000 HP to curators, communities and accounts that have supported me,as it is supposed to be a give and take. I have participated in PowerUp Days and discovered Hive.Vote. In the latter, I participate in a few curation trails, which has a positive effect on incoming upvotes and curation rewards. I regularly stake my Hive tokens and collect the LARNYX tokens every month (automatically). For the first PUD 2023, I converted an extra 100 HBD from my Savings solved into HIVE to help strengthen the currency HIVE and also boost my account growth. And I think I will generate another 100 HBD to HP shortly, as long as the HIVE is so low (a good idea?).
Where the journey should go
I see cryptocurrency as an opportunity to generate passive income for myself. I believe that in the distant future, it will help me break out of the wage-work circus and shape my life differently.
Earning money with my photography is also an idea. That's why I'm reading up on the world of NFTs. But I'm having a bit of a hard time with the implementation on the PC, and I hope that I'll soon find someone who will take me by the hand and work through a crash course with me 1:1.
Now I have decided not to invest any money from outside into my HIVE wallets, and to earn HIVE&Co through my posts and photography alone. And and I just recently started using Markdown to make the posts more interesting.
Goals 2023
I sometimes struggle with setting goals and achieving them. For example, I can't define how much HP I should generate in the next year. But I will certainly continue as before, publishing my photography and writing posts, and delving further into the blockchain world. In social media, I want to give out more personal upvotes and comment more on others' posts and work.
And I also want to be able to write a technical RECAP 2023 next year.
This is my first post in the LeoFinance community and I hope it contains enough technical and currency content. I have cut and pasted the images from screenshots of my Hive account.

Things I think about:
- Where to delegate RC?
- Use of tags
- Should I do NFT with my
photography? - From where are upvotes coming? (1000
upvotes..?)
