Good day. What is my routine like? My wife is from Brunei and I had lived in Brunei for a good part of my life, half of my entire life. I grew up in Brunei. Many people have never heard of this small country on the island of Borneo. Not many tourist visit Brunei. But it's a beautiful country. Lots of untouched forest and one of the places on earth where oxygen is plentiful.
This post is going to be full of photographs that I've taken and I am going to use it to tell a story.
How is life like? Most of the time.
I usually start off with a cup of homemade coffee
Put some soluble instant coffee and pour fresh milk. I've got a cup of delicious coffee.. I usually don't add any sugar.

Cooking some beans. My mom in law keeps the place neat and tidy. Most of the time, we are in Miri, Sarawak. The border city of Sarawak that is the closest to Brunei.

Rice with tumeric and everything vegan.

Wind chimes hang from the ceiling. When the wind blows, these chimes make beautiful tunes.
A picture of the rain
Currently, it has been raining a lot in Brunei. I managed to capture some raindrops. Those little drops look like snow but it isn't snow.
The best thing to do is to just sit there and watch the sounds of raindrops hitting the roof of the porch.
Making some jam for bread
This jam is made from Pandan leaves, eggs, sugar. My wife is busy making it. Stirring till it gets creamy.
In the afternoons, usually, I spend the time taking a nap and doing some work on my laptop. Then go do some hiking.

This is a photo that was taken in complete darkness.
I could not see anything but this camera could pick up all those details. This is where my mom in law keeps all her gardening tools. My mom is law is currently in her mid sixties and she has a body full of energy. She can be gardening all morning and afternoon.

The grass, is short because my mom in law usually spends a lot of time trimming them.
