Bismillahir Rahmani Rahim
Assalamualaikum friends, how are you all? Hope you all are very well, I am also very well with your prayers and God's grace.
Lying is a great sin, but sometimes it is better to lie than to tell the truth, so wise people say that a good lie is better than a quarrelsome truth, i.e. a lie that does not cause quarrels between people, instead there will be fights. No, there will be peace among people, that lie is better than the truth, which by the truth brings turmoil among people, fights are created.
Sheikh Sadi (RA) brought such an incident in his Gulista book, he said that a king of a country arrested a criminal, the trial of that criminal began, the king decided the trial, the king ordered the death penalty of that criminal.
Then the criminal started abusing in his own language, wise men say that when one is helpless he does what he wants, just like a helpless cat pounces on a dog knowing it can win, when a man wants to defend himself from something, there is no way. He tries to block the sword with his own hands, but fails.
The criminal started abusing the king without seeing any way out. The king, not understanding what he was saying, asked a minister what the criminal was saying. The minister said, "He is saying that Allah loves the one who suppresses his anger, and is kind to the doer of good." are using Hearing this, the king pardoned the criminal.
Then another minister from the side says that the minister has spoken a lie, the criminal has abused you, then the king says that although the previous minister's words are false but his words are better to me than yours, because he sought welfare by his lies and you by yours. Destroyed by lies.
That is why we should speak words that benefit people, not words that harm people.
Thanks everyone for reading my post today.
