It was our second to last day in the city, we would have a lot of fun and live many new adventures, the itinerary indicated that as first stop we would visit the Grevin Wax Museum, a very commented place because of the accuracy of its artworks, the wax figures were truly similar to the original characters, I think that was one of the days that we took more pictures.
Ese día, nuestro penúltimo en la ciudad, sería para mi muy divertido y viviríamos muchas nuevas aventuras, el itinerario indicaba que como primera parada visitaríamos el museo de Cera de Grevin, un lugar muy comentado por la exactitud de sus personajes de cera y era cierto, las figuras era increíblemente parecidas, creo que ese ha sido uno de los días que más fotografías tomamos.
The first thing was a lights and mirror show, a fabulous antechamber. Then, we posed next to figures like Hemingway, Picasso, Pavarotti, Albert Einstein, Nostradamus, Pope St. John Paul II, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Brad Pitt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan. Madonna, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Bruce Willis, several presidents and sportsmen of the world, the wax figures in that place were countless, we had a fantastic time.
Lo primero fue un show de luces y espejos, una antesala fabulosa para luego posar junto a figuras como Hemingway, Picasso, Pavarotti, Albert Einstein, Nostradamus, el Papa San Juan pablo II, la Madre Teresa de Calcuta, Brad Pitt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan. Madonna, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Bruce Willis, varios presidentes y deportistas del mundo, eran incontables todas las figuras en ese lugar, la pasamos fantástico.
At the end of that visit that took us almost all morning, we ate something and then went to visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, in the area of Montmartre. The truth is that we did not stay long in that place, we were really tired, so we decided to go to the Latin neighborhood to buy some souvenirs for our families and friends and then go back to the inn to prepare our bags because the following day we would go back home.
Al terminar esa visita que nos tomó casi toda la mañana, comimos algo y pasamos a visitar la Basílica del Sagrado Corazón, en la zona de Montmartre. La verdad no duramos mucho en ese sitio, estábamos realmente cansadas, así que decidimos volver a la posada, pero antes pasamos por el Barrio Latino a comprar algunos recuerdos para nuestras familias y amigos y nos regresamos a la posada a preparar nuestras maletas pues el día siguiente volveríamos a casa.
The last day, we left happily to the airport; we were more than satisfied by that unforgettable adventure we had lived, which would give us stories to tell even to this day. We would take a flight from Paris to Madrid and then to Caracas.
I remember that in Madrid, my best friend and I were selected to travel in first class, the best way to travel as they say and it was the perfect closure to that wonderful trip, it was undoubtedly a very pleasant flight.
Al día siguiente salimos contentas al aeropuerto, estábamos más que satisfechas por aquella inolvidable aventura que habíamos vivido, la cual nos daría historias que contar incluso hasta el día de hoy. Tomaríamos un vuelo Paris – Madrid y de ahí hasta Caracas.
Recuerdo que en Madrid, mi mejor amiga y yo fuimos seleccionadas para viajar en primera clase, la mejor manera de viajar como dicen y era el cierre perfecto a aquel viaje tan maravilloso, fue sin dudas un vuelo muy placentero.
Paris and London are one of the most emotional and joyful chapters of my life. I hope to have the joy of walking their streets again and live many more experiences that enrich my soul.
Paris y Londres son uno de los capítulos más emotivos y alegres de mi vida. Espero tener la dicha de pisar nuevamente sus suelos y vivir muchas más experiencias de esas que enriquecen el alma.
