Es impresionante como el movimiento de graffiteros pareciera oler cuando hay paredes recién construidas o pintadas, y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, aparecen tanto verdaderas obras de arte, como también este tipo de expresiones en letras que en lo particular no les veo mucho sentido.
Sin embargo, y dada mi ignorancia en cuanto al mundo interno de los graffiteros, puedo rescatar que estos me parecieron en cierto modo, "bonitos", pues me gustó la selección de los colores, así como también algunos de los detalles adicionales que tuvieron a bien colocarles, dándoles profundidad al diseño y una cara nueva a esa pared recién pintada de gris, que junto con el pavimento, hacían ver demasiado monocromática toda la avenida.
De entre todo el colorido, rescato una frase que se entreve em el borde de uno de ellos que dice "sufrir fue permitido", aunque realmente eso lo dejo al libre albedrío.
It’s amazing how the graffiti scene seems to spring into life whenever there are newly built or freshly painted walls, and in the blink of an eye, you see both genuine works of art and this sort of lettering that, personally, I don’t really see the point of.
However, given my lack of knowledge about the inner workings of the graffiti scene, I can say that I found these somewhat ‘pretty’, as I liked the choice of colours, as well as some of the additional details they saw fit to add, giving depth to the design and a fresh look to that wall, freshly painted grey, which, together with the pavement, made the whole avenue look far too monochrome.
Amidst all the colour, I’d like to highlight a phrase glimpsed on the edge of one of them that reads ‘suffering was permitted’, though I’ll leave the interpretation of that up to you.
