Danao City Christmas Spectacle: Lighting Ceremony
"Let's sing Merry Christmas and a happy holidayπΆ." Oh! Bakit mo kinanta? Hahahah. Christmas is here; we can feel it in the air. Christmas is the season of giving and forgiving; it reminds us that love binds us all despite our differences. It is the day we believe that the child Jesus was born. During the Christmas season, let us not forget the essence of its celebration: to love, forgive, and give to one another.
December 9, 2024, is the day set to light up the Danao City Christmas Village. I filed a sick leave since I am not feeling well. Another reason is that I also wanted to experience the nightlife in Danao City and, of course, their opening of lights. Prior to going home, I will just be enjoying this moment. I also have to give myself a break from the exhausting work and review.Prior to the lighting ceremony, I noticed how clean the park and plaza were, a sign of good governance in Danao City. Streetlights are mesmerizing, and street food is mouthwatering. They have a series of food parks in the plaza that offer different affordable street food, barbeques, and other snacks.
Going back, the lights at the Danao City boardwalk Christmas Village are truly stunning, a picturesque spot perfect for family and friends' bonding. So sad I got here alone. It is just a drop-by visit, but I actually enjoy myself walking through the plaza, eating street food, and of course sight-seeing with the mesmerizing beauty of Danao City. Annnnddd.....The perfect time is here; it's time for the countdown. When the light was opened, it gave me chills. I am so happy I've got to experience the Danawanon kind of Christmas.
Here are some shots of the highlights of the event.
Christmas Message
The event was concluded with a bang; fireworks lit up the Danao City Boardwalk. My experience was a blast; after the fireworks, I eventually got home. I was not that feeling good; that's why I have to get back home and take a rest. Overall, it was a good experience having seen such an incredible opening of lights and being able to stroll around the Danao City plaza.
