En ocasiones no te sientes apto para incursionar en algunas comunidades... Y justo es eso lo que me ocurría al pensar en publicar en 
Pensaba... "¿Publicar en una comunidad donde son excelentes en la fotografía, cuando yo no tengo ni un mínimo de noción sobre la misma?"
Eso me frenaba un poco... Hasta que me arriesgue y hoy estoy aquí haciendo mi primera entrada, por supuesto como aficionada...
Hoy quiero mostrarles una serie de fotografías de mi visita al casco histórico de la Victoria en el estado Aragua - Venezuela.
Esta zona es rica en historia, además de albergar una agradable arquitectura antigua que se ha mantenido con el paso de los años.
Lo que me llamó la atención de la misma fue lo colorido y el aspecto colonial de sus calles.

I was thinking. "Posting in a community where they are excellent at photography, when I don't have the slightest notion about it?"
That was holding me back a bit.... Until I took the risk and today I'm here making my first entry, of course as an amateur...
Today I want to show you a series of photographs of my visit to the historic center of La Victoria in the state of Aragua - Venezuela.
This area is rich in history, besides housing a nice old architecture that has been maintained over the years.
What caught my attention was the colorful and colonial aspect of its streets.
El clima no estaba muy favorecedor, pues el día estaba algo nublado.
Por lo que las fotos estaban un poco oscuras, sin embargo decidí editarlas un poco subiendo la exposición, quitando la neblina y aumentando el contraste.
Básicamente son los únicos retoques que hago al editarlas, pues no manejo los otros términos en cuanto a la edición de las fotografías. Pero poco a poco voy aprendiendo.
The weather was not very flattering, as the day was a bit cloudy.
So the photos were a bit dark, however I decided to edit them a bit by increasing the exposure, removing the haze and increasing the contrast.
Basically these are the only retouching I do when editing them, since I don't handle the other terms in terms of photo editing. But little by little I am learning.
También logré sacar unas fotografías del Cuartel Mariano Montilla...
Pensé que no nos darían el permiso pues son bastante delicados a la hora de fotografíar lugares así, sin embargo me permitieron unos minutos muy cortos para sacarle algunas fotografías.
Creo que con algo más de tiempo habría sacado algunas mejores.
I also managed to take some pictures of the Mariano Montilla Barracks....
I thought they would not give us permission because they are quite delicate when it comes to photographing places like that, however they allowed me a few very short minutes to take some pictures.
I think that with a little more time I would have taken some better pictures.
Por último visité los alrededores de la plaza "José Félix Ribas"...
Finally, I visited the surroundings of the "José Félix Ribas" square...
Pese a que lo hago de manera aficionada puedo decir que disfruto mucho la fotografía, es algo que me apasiona.
Tantas cosas hermosas como la naturaleza, estructuras, arquitecturas y demás podemos inmortalizarlas gracias a ella.
Espero hayan disfrutado un poco de mis tomas visuales y como siempre agradecida infinitamente por su valioso tiempo y atención.

Although I do it as an amateur I can say that I enjoy photography very much, it is something I am passionate about.
So many beautiful things like nature, structures, architectures and others can be immortalized thanks to it.
