In my experience, rainy days, if they persist in their variability, have led to differences from what was expected and have added uncertainty to the outcome of the harvests, depending, of course, on the types of crops and their specific characteristics. I also live on the plains, and this year the rainy season came early due to meteorological phenomena. Some crops welcomed it, but others, such as squash, required more care to avoid waterlogging.
