A marvelous day, Hive. This is me Mars, and I come from a country where you can see extraordinary sights, hospitable personality, and mouthwatering delicacies. My very own, Cebu, Philippines. I am now twenty years young, and I want to share here how’s my life and this will serve as my introduction here on Hive.
I was born the oldest among five siblings and together with our parents, we lived in a province area where we were surrounded by mountains, trees, green grass, and animals such as cows, carabaos, chickens, and goats. I had a deep connection with nature and lived a life that was as simple as I could. Being a kid is a life that I never thought I’d be missing. A life where my problem is just about how to go outside to play with my siblings and cousins. Now, life is much different from before. Life is more stressful. I am having fear and anxiety feeling pressured thinking of what will be the future waiting for me.
Since nothing is permanent, time flies so fast and I am now a college student, taking up a Bachelor of Secondary Education. As the firstborn, I have responsibilities for my brothers and sisters. I have to give the best in myself and do well in everything I do because I have this goal which is to finish my studies and provide my loved ones with a better and stable life. As a young individual, I am prone to destructions and temptations but I am very much grateful to have some individuals who are supporting and helping me growing up.
Cheering on every small win, teaching me to be better, and being proud of what I am. They are my inspiration and support system. Achieving that goal is somehow way too far from today but I am always looking forward to positivity and believing that despite challenges, I can do it.
HOBBIES AND LIKES
I am always excited to explore new things that can give me happiness and lessons in life. Embracing the joys of adventure, hobbies, and sports that made a part of my self-development. First, I am an adventurous type of person. I love exploring new things because I see it as fun and exciting. It can be a strenuous hiking or a deep-sea diving. By doing such an activity, it gives me an appreciation of the beauty of the environment. It taught me lessons on how to become strong, resilient, and adaptive in different aspects of life. Adventure gives a supply to my curious mind and it allows me to enjoy life to the fullest.
Secondly, I am into sports. Volleyball and Track ‘and field in particular. These two contributed to a wide development in the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of my life. They are not just a pastime to me, but a passion that gives energy and inspiration to my whole being. Both sports mentioned above highlight the importance of teamwork, strengths, and strategies.
Yes, it is indeed true that we can’t always get the things we want. At times, I fail and am not able to pay the price of my labor but the important thing is that I accept it wholeheartedly and make it as an inspiration to do better because I believe that God’s will must be done and I have to wait for my timing.
Sports taught me a long-life knowledge; to become bold, accept failures, and do good without hurting someone’s emotions.
Lastly, I am into dancing. I love to move my body because I enjoy every kick and sway in it. One great thing I am thankful about dancing is that it allows me to forget the sadness I am feeling. It is one of the best ways to relieve my stress and can be a source of happiness. The best part is that I am happy with what I am doing. I am thankful to our Almighty God for giving me complete body parts that allow me to become physically fit and enjoy things that I am fond of.
I believe that I am living a life having Jesus by my side. He is my refugee and companion in all time. And because of that, I am trying my best to serve and glorify Him. I am an active youth server in our parish, and it developed me more spiritually because I know to myself that I get distracted easily that’s why I am always asking for his guidance and protection. May all of my loved ones be safe and guided by his spirit and so to all my dear readers here on Hive.
