The abundant discoveries of exoplanets orbiting distant stars, some of them candidates to host life, the declassification of UFO files by the US government or the recent appearance of the interstellar object Oumuamua have once again awakened the interest of some scientists in the extraterrestrial phenomenon.

What it does seem that they have made it clear is that they will only focus on the study of the phenomena and the data provided by this project and will not evaluate the existing data about this phenomenon since most of them are in the hands of governments. and they cannot be studied in a totally objective way.
