I have been playing Frontier for the past week and was able to pull at least one set of rewards. I found that works best for me as days where I get the max three it would lead to a lot more loses in the next day due to ranking rise.
My win rate has risen in the past few seasons by a percentage point and tonight I was able to pull almost a straight five wins in a row.
On to the main topic of the post is how many players are really still active on Splinterlands? In peakmonsters there are internal stats graphically sharing this data and currently it appears for the past month the activity has remain consistent. The numbers are showing over 56k transactions daily average and over 58k battles daily average.
The daily accounts active is close to 4.3k. This is not necessarily great considering I assume bot accounts are also added in these numbers. Overall with more than 330k accounts I would think there would be more active participants. This is barely over 1% of all accounts created that are currently active on average.
The reality is Splinterlands is not as well known and played as in the past. I too am getting fatigue in going on daily and sometimes skip a day here and there. This is because the rewards to not out weight the time it takes to earn them. In addition some of the lust in how the game is played gets old and with no really alternative in games the Splinterlands ecosystem is struggling to remain relevant.
To end on a positive note I am still here and so are some of the most loyalist fans. Even in my guild I can see multiple players active therefore I can imagine many guilds out there still have real human players actively playing the game. Even if its a small active group there is still the possibility this can grow big someday. We continue to play to see if that someday will ever come.
