¿Que son y para qué sirven
Como su nombre lo dice son unos cuadritos de tela triple o acolchados ideales para agarrar las ollas o sartenes calientes en la cocina sin quemarte. Ya el mango o las asas de estos tienden a calentarse bastante cuando estás preparando tus platillos favoritos. Dejando esto claro, comencemos:

What are they and what are they for
As the name implies, they are triple or padded fabric squares ideal for grabbing hot pots or pans in the kitchen without burning yourself. Already the handle or the handles of these tend to get quite hot when you are preparing your favorite dishes. Making this clear, let's get started:
Materiales:
-Papel y lápiz para el patrón.
-Tela suave para forrar
-Tela jean (de reciclaje) o cualquier tela. dura te puede servir.
-Tela acolchada (opcional)
-Tijera
-Maquina de coser o aguja e hilo
-Cinta métrica o regla para medir
-Tiza de sastrería o cómo les dije en el post anterior un pedacito de jabón seco les puede servir.
Materials:
-Paper and pencil for the pattern.
-Soft fabric for lining
-Jean fabric (recycling) or any fabric. hard can serve you.
-Padded fabric (optional)
-Scissor
-Sewing machine or needle and thread
-Tape measure or ruler to measure
-Tailoring chalk or how I told you in the previous post, a little piece of dry soap can be useful.
Procedimiento: || Process:
Paso 1:
Lo primero que haremos será sacar nuestro patrón, lo pueden hacer del tamaño que ustedes gusten. En esta ocasión yo les hice esté que es cómodo. Mide; 12cm x 11cm.
Step 1:
The first thing we will do is take out our pattern, you can make it the size you like. On this occasion I made them feel that it is comfortable. Measure; 12cm x 11cm.
Paso 2:
Después vamos a montar este patrón sobre nuestras telas y cortaremos 4 caras iguales. Dos de la tela suave y dos de la tela jean, puedes usar las piernas de un pantalón viejo que no uses. En mi caso yo quise combinar dos tipos de puntos entonces conté dos mitades iguales de diferentes telas como lo verán a continuación.
Step 2:
Then we are going to mount this pattern on our fabrics and we will cut 4 equal faces. Two of the printed fabric and two of the jean fabric, you can use the legs of an old pants that you do not use. In my case I wanted to combine two types of stitches so I counted two equal halves of different fabrics as you will see below.
Paso 3:
Vamos a ubicar todas las piezas en el siguiente orden:
Tela suave (negra) fondo.
Las dos caras de tela jean. Centro
Tela suave (la que uní) Portada.
Step 3:
We are going to place all the pieces in the following order:
Soft fabric (black) background.
Both sides of jean fabric. Center
Soft fabric (the one I joined) Cover.
Paso 4:
Una vez tenemos todo cortado, vamos a cocer, y lo primero será unir las piezas que corté mitad y mitad ( Yo metí un trozo de tela negra para adornar, como se ve en la imagen).
Step 4:
Once we have everything cut, we are going to cook, and the first thing will be to join the pieces that I cut half and half (I put a piece of black fabric to decorate, as seen in the image).
Paso 5:
Luego vamos a reforzar las dos caras de tela jean, pasando varias costuras en el centro y qué quedé más resistente.
Step 5:
Then we are going to reinforce the two sides of the jean fabric, passing several seams in the center and what was more resistant.
Paso 6:
Armamos nuestras cuatro caras en el orden antes mencionado, y cosemos por todo el borde.
Step 6:
We assemble our four faces in the order mentioned above, and we sew all around the edge.
Paso 7:
Vamos a cortar con nuestra tela suave unas tiras al sesgo de 3cm de ancho.
Step 7:
We are going to cut with our soft fabric some strips at the sesgo of 3cm wide.

Nota importante:
Las tiras al cejo las puedes sacar al diagonal de la tela, dónde veas que está aeatira un poco. ( En mi siguiente post les explicaré mejor este paso).
También pueden ser tirar rectas pero no quedarán tan parejas y serán más difíciles de pagar.
Important note:
The eyebrow strips can be taken out to the diagonal of the fabric, where you can see that it is slightly stretched. (In my next post I will explain this step better).

Paso 8:
Luego pegaremos nuestra tira en todo el borde de el agarra ollas por el al revés de la tela.

Paso 9:
Después volteamos y quedaremos en el frente de nuestro agarra ollas y procedemos a doblar y coser lo más estético posible.
Step 9:
Then we turn over and we will be in the front of our pot grabber and proceed to fold and sew as aesthetically as possible.
Paso 10:
Una vez terminado todo el borde, trata de dejar un punta sobrante, con la cual le harás una orejita ideal para colgar en tu cocina.
Step 10:
Once the entire edge is finished, try to leave a leftover tip, with which you will make an ideal ear to hang in your kitchen.
Así quedan nuestros bonitos agarra ollas, puedes decorar con cintas, lazos o encajes. Eso queda a tu estilo, son una bonita idea para regalar! Espero se motiven a realizarlos.
