About an hour south of Cebu city, Alcoy Tabigi Eco Park is one of the relatively unknown treasures I visited lately. Being a fan of being outdoors, I jumped at the idea of checking out this environmentally friendly place, thanks to its location by the ocean. Besides seeing incredible land, I was also amazed by the gorgeous ocean scenery along the coast. I’ll take you through my experience in detail.
Getting to Alcoy Tabigi Eco Park was truly exciting. The stronger I felt it as I traveled from Cebu City. The highway took us past beautiful scenery, filled with lots of green plants on both sides. As soon as I was at the park, I saw how friendly the local employees were. Their excitement about the park and what nature had to offer colored everything we did that day. I noticed the bright colors of the plants when I entered the park. The air was clean and uplifting, a nice contrast to the hectic life of the city. hear loops of birds and the calm waves lapping made the area very peaceful and welcomed me at once. For a little while, I took in the beautiful surrounding air and admired my surroundings.
Its many hiking paths which take visitors to blissful nature and impressive ocean scenes, make Alcoy Tabigi Eco Park a popular destination. I chose to go hiking to discover all the possible trails. The many types of plants along the trails caught my attention as I walked. There were tall trees everywhere and colorful blooms came up between them. I reached the top of the trail and found a nice viewpoint above the ocean. The view was so beautiful—the ocean sides shaded from blue to blue, with nothing differentiating it from the sky above. I pulled over to look at the view and snap some pictures.
I noticed a large variety of birds and sea creatures along my hike. At that time, I could observe schools swimming effortlessly in the transparent water at the sea bottom. Having my camera ready, I slowly watched the scene, grateful to be able to see it. It made me realize why it’s important to protect these natural habitats in all parts of the Earth. After a couple hours of climbing, I came across a calm place over the ocean. At that point, I felt very at peace and grateful. I could hardly believe how easy it was to relax and focus on the world around me.
This eco park is concerned with helping visitors enjoy nature, as well as with boosting community contributions and focusing on ocean life. A local guide told me about the park’s mission when I went there. They explained that members of the community join efforts to keep the park clean and tell visitors why ocean conservation is so important.
The park helps show the value of eco-tourism and community contributions to defending the health of the oceans. I went home with a better idea of what needs to be done and a promise to safeguard our environment. If you need a break from everyday stress and are nature and ocean lovers, Alcoy Tabigi Eco Park is the place for you. You won’t forget what you see once you’ve left India. All in all, Alcoy Tabigi Eco Park is perfect for those who love hiking and for people just looking for some quiet near the ocean. My journey there was something I’ll never forget and I can’t wait to go back and see more, mainly because of the amazing views of the ocean.
