Outsourcing is a business practice in which a company hires a third-party to perform tasks, handle operations or provide services for the company. Yesterday I have written about freelancing. But I haven't heard about outsourcing. There are a lot people who are confused between freelancing and outsourcing. So my today's blog is for them.
In a word, outsourcing can be any source other than one's own source. In other words, the work of an organization is being outsourced by freelancers through the internet. And those who do this outsourcing work are called freelancers.
However, the work of outsourcing is done only with the help of internet and freelancers. Outsourcing also includes outsourcing of company work through contact without hiring any person to the company through offline except online.
Differences between Freelancing and Outsourcing
Suppose you have a pharmaceutical company. You can do all the marketing work in your company including medicine preparation with all the employees of your company. In this case, you do not need the help of anyone other than the people of the company to start and market your medicine.
But if your company ever needs to create a website, you can't do that with your company's employees. Because people who work for pharmaceutical companies usually don't know how to create a website. In this case, you need to contact a web developer to create a website.
Now you can create a website by contacting a web developer in two ways. One is to create a website that speaks directly and the other is to create a website through contact with a freelancer online. Whether you do it online or offline, you can get in touch with a web developer.
Here you should take a good look at the issue, since you did the work through contact without hiring a web developer in your company, so you will save a lot of money here. The web developer had to pay a lot of money every month to hire a web developer to create a website. However, doing the work through contact will greatly reduce your costs.
Now let's get to the basics. There are two sides to creating a website. One side is you and the other side is the web developer. The work you have done with the web developer from outside sources without hiring the web developer in your company is outsourcing and the person who has done the work online is the freelancer.
Simply put, you outsourced your work to an outside source rather than through your company. Here you are the outsourcer and you are outsourced as a client of the person you worked with. On the other hand, the one who has done your job is a freelancer. This means that the person who has earned money by doing the work of your company is never outsourcing. You are doing that.
So,it was for today. I hope you all havw understand the difference between freelancing and outsourcing. I have written about freelancing in my last blog. I hope all doubt are clear. I hope you all will tell your opinion if there is any mistake. Thanks all
