If I were to write this post without mentioning the name of this city where I spent much of today, I believe this city would not remain unknown to my readers. We can actually try... so you can see for yourself which photo would help you recognise this fairly well-known city in Spain, and beyond, because we saw tourists from many European countries and also from Asia. I can help you with the names of some of the buildings, so let's start with this walk in that city.
You could see The Lonja de la Seda in the very first photo, built at the end of the 15th century. The second photo, the one under this text, is the City Hall of our mystical city. There are yellow and red striped flags that could reveal which part of Spain we are talking about.
If not because of the flags, you could draw your own conclusions from the architecture. The city has a rich history - there are old buildings in the city centre built in Gothic style, sometimes mixed with Baroque style. The tower of this church is tall, and I can also reveal its name - the Church of Santa Catalina.
The next building dates back to the mid-13th century, built in the Gothic style, but during the later reconstructions, the Baroque style was also introduced.
The cathedral of this city is a mix of many styles... it combines Romanesque, French Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical elements.
Our walk was quite intensive, but I could handle everything very well. We made this walk to introduce the city where our son lives to the family of my husband. They were fine but tired from the heat and long distances we had already covered through the city centre and many buildings that we showed them.
However, they were not aware that the day would continue in a similar way haha, going through a long park that surrounds the city centre and finishing at a modern part where everyone will find out where this walk happened.
The translation of the text from this monument would be: Peace and harmony are daughters of reason and mind.
I was not even trying to take many photos from our walk... still, there are so many of these marvellous architectural gems that found their way to come to Hive through my phone camera. 😅

So, it was easy to find out that I walked today in the city where the photographer also found himself, right?
Maybe not that easy?
There are so many cute details one can find in this place, but who knows whether the photographer liked them or not. I can't speak in his name, but I found a few colourful elements in the park that I found interesting.
Speaking about that park... now you really have to know the place, seeing this musician conducting with his left hand, seeing the Palace of Music, or Queen Sofia Palace of Arts.
Or, could the palm trees reveal the location of this mysterious city?
Well, you could just check on my map what I have pinned and find out the location. 😂
