"In a world full of chaos and doubts, happiness is the only healing."
On May 21, everybody in the house was so excited as we agreed (me, my husband, and my daughter) to spend the day doing outdoor activities and planned to go to Bogo City to witness a variety of amusements concerning their fiesta.
The Preparation
The things I prepare first before going somewhere are for my daughter's paraphernalia; inside the bag: Extra clothes, a feeding bottle, milk, water, towels, essential oil, alcohol, wet wipes, an umbrella, and a mini fan. There should never be any single thing left at home. If that is the case, my husband's temper would be out of sight.π After which, that is the time I mind mine.
Just a sling bag. Water, some cash, and a towel inside.
Also, making myself well-presented won't make me look like a nanny to my daughter.π Having a 3-year-old child at 30 plus age is ironically easy.π. When everything's ready, including turning off the gas tank and breakers, that's the time we left. Let's go!
How Do We Get There?
You can either ride a bus or a tricycle; the trip is more or less 30 minutes, depending on how the driver's changing gear ability.π We're from Tabogon. Bogo City is just next to our hometown; I'm sure many of you have been there, right?
The Arrival
left home at 2 in the afternoon; arrived at 2:30 pm directly at Bogo City plaza. The moment my daughter leaped on the tricycle, she was amazed at the place. What it looks like? Before she watches the slide, swing, sea saw, etc. YouTube videos; Now, she's facing them for real.
Where Happiness Starts
Slide- the very first thing she told me to play. I couldn't remember I was playing with such a kind of toy when I was little. Lucky for her, she's able to try. As you can see, satisfaction is at its finest.π
Round and Round- In this, she just played for a few minutes; felt dizzy later.
Swing- she enjoys swinging by and by. There was a thorough reminder given if playing improperly. As a parent, I should say about the consequences of self-care. You know, honestly, they can hardly understand sometimes.
Playing and chasing the balloon- Whose child doesn't like balloons? I think all of them like it. At first, I bought her a Mickey Mouse. Sadly, a few minutes after receiving it, it slipped on her hand and flew away. She cried the hardestπ until I bought her another one. This time it was Hello Kitty. She felt delighted again.π Spent the place for more than an hour. So, what do we expect after doing a strenuous activity?
Where We Head After the Plaza?
What's the favorite fast food chain, especially the children? Yes, you are correct. Jollibee! π₯° What's your child's favorite food in there? You are right. Spaghetti!
While she likes spaghetti and french fries, I ordered Chicken Joy and Beef mushroom for me and; my husband.
Then we eagerly ate together; went to the last place we were most excited about.
Welcome to Cindy's Grand Carnival
The entrance fee is only 20 pesos. There was no exemption for children. You should pay in full. Upon entering the place, you will see the Merry Go Round as if waving to my daughter to take a ride. Of course, I want her to experience such an undescribable moment with it. I paid 40 pesos for 1 round for 3 minutes. Horse! I'm riding a horse! She exclaimed. Daddy's very supportive of us. He became our instant photographer at that time. Yay! Thanks, dad.π₯°
Then we went to another booth where you bet any card you want. There's a ball at the center that will fall anytime. If your card is the same as where the ball is, you win. The third one is the (Peryahan). It Is a game where you throw one peso to a designated square-shaped board with a corresponding amount of money from 1 peso to 10 pesos if I'm not mistaken. There's also a jackpot prize like junk foods, drinks, and other snacks. Honestly, I lost more than 20 pesos. Hahaha. Neither I nor my husband receives any jackpot prize. My daughter wondered what I was doingπ.
The fourth one was the Shooting Booth. I'm not so sure about the term. They did not put a label on it. Daddy had fun with it. In this game, you shoot at least 12 objects to receive a prize; spend 60 pesos. This time, we're happy because we're doing better than in the Peryahan. The owner gave us some snacks after. Yehey!
The fifth is the Ring Booth. There were rings to fit in any of the alcoholic beverages and sodas. If you happen to shoot any of them, they will give it to you as your price. The fee is 20 pesos; they provide you with ten (10) rings to throw. We thought it's as a piece of cake. However, we failed. It's the hardest one. Again, does not receive any price and lost 20 pesos. My child suddenly asks us to go home. Maybe, she felt that only her mom and dad enjoyed the most here. It's unfair. Hahaha.
You can also try their Ferris Wheel and Bouncing Area for children. I'm not sure what the proper term of the second one is.π
Then we decided to go home. When we were about to go out, I stopped by another booth; paid 20 pesos but didn't bring any price. Oh no! This time, our child insisted out and, buy her a toy. By the way, when we were still inside the carnival, she wanted to have the kitchen toys, but I refused. She has them at home. I told her to buy another kind of toy.
Outside, she chose an airplane. Well, they can both be played by girls and boys, right? We then went home.
Importance of Quality Time
My heart shouts for joy seeing her ecstatic. Allocating ample time for your child means giving her the utmost importance of love. As working parents, we make sure we give her the best time we know we can. Material things are nothing if you don't give time to talk with your child; and teach them lessons, both school-related and proper behavior.
