Hello Hive
Happy new day to us all and the beautiful souls in this community. I hope that we are having a good time and enjoying the best of the season.
Today I decided to try my hands at something different since there is no harm in trying at all. Ever since I came into the fashion industry, it has always been about sewing female wears and kiddies wears as well.
The ladies in my house are always happy that they can get their outfits designed and sewn for free but the boys always find it a bit difficult to get their own wear sewn. I have tried all I can to learn how to make the males wears but it hasn't been forthcoming.
I learnt that making male wears is even more simpler than female and a few persons have encouraged me to check YouTube tutorials, for me I learn easily via physical tutorial which the bosses here are charging about $100 just to train, hopefully I will be able to learn a bit of male fashion before the year ends.
But before then I caught a glimps of what make fashion is all about
The ability to cut a nice neckline, piping it neatly
Make clothes often have pockets at the front as its own kind of embroidery.
A front flap for easy wearing of top
Sometimes instead of the pocket, we can use embroidery machine to design the outfit.
I decided to help a brother with is outfit for today. Since we have wet the vegetables yesterday and won't be going to farm today I helped out with switching and arranging the wear he wants to dress in for today
He has an occasion to attend to this morning and since tailor in charge of the outfit was busy I got the chance to see a male clothes.
I took his body measurements and used it to stitch the side seams
And then created a neat hemming of the top here
The cutting of the sleeve and sewing is similar to that of a female wear hence that didn't give me much stress to do here
Having done all of these the top fitted the brother really well. Afterwards I believed that men's clothes are simpler to design, I only need to pay attention to the cutting of the neckline and some details that can make a design go wrong. I learnt how to cut and sew a pocket from female wear classes too hence my journey into male wears won't be totally difficult after all.
