Hello Hive.
Now that I have then in them in three set, I feel relaxed that I won't be needing any short anytime soon. Having just two may sometimes not be enough and when one is nor clean and I wearing the other, laundry may call on me earlier than expected.
Having 3 or more means that I can do a little laziness and postpone laundry to at least weekends while I still have what to wear around the house.
Part of the excitement of having sewn three short for myself to avoid purchasing expensive ones from the market won't make me lose some manners to ask after everyone.
Hope we are all safe, healthy, eating well and been creative.
Having left over fabrics from different sewing projects have benefitted me alot and these very much needed shorts are a blessing from there.
I wanted to make them in different designs but in the end they all looked similar.
While making the blue one here, I felt that having side pockets will make it unique, I prepared two of them but after stitching in some two different colors of bias, adding a white color pocket might seem odd.
So l left that out.
The white and wine short were made with tight fittings while I wanted some free for the blue which turned out looking not fitted.
I don't like it that way but ripping out the seam of velvet fabrics isn't easy and it will get torn.
The wine is my favorite 💃🌹
In simple term I have come to the completion of the short sowing series.
