Prompt? What prompt? There's no prompt tonight, I’m going my own way. Countless possibilities for a story. Loads. Shouldn't be difficult.
So, here it is. A duck. Quack, quack, quack.
I need to give the duck a name. Dave the duck.
One day, Dave the Duck was wondering around the park, as usual, waiting for bread. But today, nobody has come. The weather is nice, but that has not enticed anyone to visit the park..
It gets later in the morning and hunger kicks in. Dave the duck decides to take a stroll.
But it is far too quiet. There's no people. There's no cars. The shops are all closed.
Fortunately, for Dave, the door to the local supermarket has been left open. This means that Dave can let himself in and help himself to the bread.
Quack, quack, all’s good so far.
Except, where are all the people gone? That is a real mystery.
Dave looks up to the sky. “Where are they?”
But there are no answers.
Whilst Dave is in the supermarket, he helps himself to more food; cakes, fruit and crisps.
Dave goes back to the park and tells all the ducks about the supermarket. They all make their way. When they arrive, they plug in the music system and try on some of the hats from the baby clothes section. They all eat and drink and have a great party.
Quack, quack.
