It's already December, and at least in this country, for the past few days, we've been seeing places and stores decorated with Christmas decorations and decorations. For me, Christmas has always been a very special season. I have very fond memories of when I was a child and experienced those times with my family, and I also shared them in places such as the streets, shopping malls, and the historic center of my city. So I recognize that this is a season that rekindles a very beautiful flame, both in me and in my family.
What I am sharing today is precisely related to Christmas. To tell you briefly: a couple of nights ago, I was coming back from the city of Cagua to my home, and on the way I had to pass through the town of Santa Cruz de Aragua. As I passed through Plaza Bolívar, I noticed that the Christmas decorations that had been installed in the plaza had been unveiled that very day. So, we didn't hesitate to stop and admire the place and, of course, take some photos.
From the moment I got out of the truck, I could see that they had spared no expense when it came to lights. There are large rolls of lights in every corner, both in the trees and on the structure of the square itself, and that undoubtedly makes walking around there at night feel like being in a magical place. I really liked the triangular tree, as it is quite tall and completely covered in lights. It made me feel nostalgic, in the sense that Christmas trees have always been around, and I think the one I saw in the plaza does great justice to this symbol of Christmas. There were also other decorations and structures that weren't an integral part of the plaza but were added to create volume and brightness.
I think it was a very good initiative to decorate this square in this way, as it creates a festive atmosphere for Christmas in the area. So, at that moment, I decided that I was going to visit other squares in other towns to see how they had been decorated and, of course, to take photos and share them with the community. I would say that from now on I will start “hunting for Christmas lights” throughout the area and region where I live. I will see how many I can visit and, of course, how many I can photograph. I hope you enjoyed these photos. It was a pleasure to share them. See you soon!
