You may or may not have heard of Whaleshares but it has been in development for some time but has now launched!
However to sign up for the first two weeks will required a fee paid in Whaleshares but from the 1st September it will be free to join.
I wanted to get in from the ground floor and start to build my account up so I can help you all when/if you sign up in the future. You can follow my new account HERE.
Whaleshares functions in a similar way to Steemit but uses the Bitshares DEX (Decentralised Exchange) for trading of the token (yes there is only one unlike the two we have here on Steemit).
I intend to replicate what we do here on Steemit by supporting independent musicians in a similar way.
As soon as I have had chance to use the system and understand it fully I will create a video and related post to show you all how to use it effectively.

This is a brand new video sharing platform based on the blockchain and is currently only in ALPHA but is looking very interesting and you can already trade the tokens!
It uses a similar method to STEEMIT in that you accumulate votes over a 7 day period and then get paid out at the end. The payout mechanism is a bit complicated but akin to the way CHOON works, I think!!
I've only just started using this and it requires a fair bit of technical know-how as you will need Metamask installed to use it and as it's only in ALPHA it doesn't really guide you that well.
As always I will continue to use it and then do a video and post showing you exactly how to set it all up and trade the tokens once it is all clear in my mind.
