I was up and out early today as usual so clocked in my 1k of steps to start the day but then at lunchtime decided to go for another run. The weather was looking great and it was a spontaneous decision.
It started well but I haven't had that breaking through the pain barrier feeling yet, so need to get out some yet.
Although today felt better than the last two times, it was far from ideal. I added an extra 5 minutes onto my run and was struggling in the last part to keep going.
I am following the training guide that prepares you for a marathon as a non-runner as I had planned to do a marathon until my health went down a little and I only got as far as running 10k.
I will take 1 or 2 rest days before my next run to ensure that I don't damage my ankle and let my body recover.
