Hello my dear followers!
After a brief pause in my publication,
TUTORIAL AUTOCAD:
"EASY, CREATE YOURSELF! THE PLANE OF YOUR HOUSE"
"I hope you have had enough time to translate the knowledge acquired in the previous installments and that you have practiced the use of the software a lot."
Remember estimates:
“PRACTICE MAKES A MASTER”,
This type of tool requires a lot of dedication to create enough skill and skills in the management of AUTOCAD.
Committed to you and your learning!,
Finally we have arrived at the part Nº 4, of our Tutorial:
“(Tutorial AUTOCAD) Part # 4, CREATE YOURSELF! THE PLANE OF YOUR HOUSE”
”It should be noted that the realization of plans and designs of buildings is usually a professional task carried out by engineers and architects; but with a little knowledge and practice the project of our house can be created by ourselves, to an "admissible" degree. This can represent an economic saving for our pockets as well as an immense personal satisfaction.”
To take the sequence of the previous parts of the tutorial, do not forget to consult:
TUTORIAL PART 3
As usual, I would like to mention the programmatic content of volumes 1, 2 and 3 previously developed:
1. Create a layer
1.1. Properties:
- Name
- Colour
- Line width
- Type of line
1.2. Activate or deactivate a layer
1.3. Lock or unlock a layer
2. Use command:
2.1. Line
2.2. Rectangle
3. Create plan (Project area):
3.1. Parcel area
3.2. Construction area
4. Plan of Foundations
4.1. Design foundations 0.80 x 0.80
4.2. Distribute the foundations in the construction area,
keeping the project parameters.
5. Project length
5.1. Create horizontal lights
5.2. Create vertical lights
5.3. Length distribution
6. Use command:
6.1. GLN (Line Thickness)
6.2. Move, copy and paste
6.3. Create a "block"
7. Plan of Foundations
(New)
8. Plane of Columns
8.1. Use command:
8.1.1.Polygon
9. Walls
10. Plan of distribution (ground floor)
Have you asked yourself:
Can I build the walls of my house without having previously made foundations and columns?
How do I design the ground floor without knowing what my construction area is?
Can I make the roof of my house without first having the columns where it has to be supported?
•
For these and many reasons we must preserve a logical and deliberate constructive order according to the program of the work in real life.
"Little by little, stone by stone, block by block, you will build the structure of your house contemplating all the decisive aspects, from the most important to the smallest details, be patient and soon you will see your work completed!."
•
¡Okay! We continue...
We quote the Original project:
- Columns 0.20 x 0.20
- Walls: concrete block (E: 0.15)
- Ground floor layout
COLUMN 0.20 x 0.20
“Previously we created a layer called COLUMN, using the layer manager /NEW/, as you have learned in the previous volumes”
“Column: It is a vertical element with a regular square section, reinforced concrete or steel beam. It maintains the erect structure supporting the efforts and transmitting them to the foundations. They are semi-flexible to withstand some seismic event”
We draw a column 0.20 x 0.20, centering it on the foundation "F-A1".
Once the column is created, we copy and paste it as a block to handle it freely in the plane as a solid element.
Note: We can also create the column using the "POLYGON" command, creating a four-sided figure (square), introducing the values r = 0.10, inscribed within the circumference. Just click on the command icon "Polygon" and follow the instructions in the dialog box.
Take note!
At this time I will teach you how to use the "POLYGON" command,
CREATE POLYGON.
Look where it is located!
As you see in the figure:
You must pay attention to the dialog box:
Indicate the number of sides of the polygon:
You must type the number "4" with the keyboard, then press enter
(Just follow the instructions to the letter)
Specify the center of the polygon:
For this you must go to the work field and click with the cursor somewhere where you want to locate the polygon you are about to create.
"I clicked on the center of the foundation F-A1 (optional location)."
The dialog box asks me if I want the polygon to be inscribed inside the circle or around it.
We mark“i” (inscribed) + Enter.
Something similar to what you see in the graph will happen:
Now it will ask for the radius of the circle.
Note: "The AUTOCAD software associates the drawing of a polygon with a circumference, therefore, you must be clear that the radius (r) of the circumference is equal to ½ side (l) of the figure.”
Polygon side: l=2r
You include the value 0.10, to obtain a square polygon of 0.20 on each side and
That's it!
The result you see in the following image:
In the same way as in the F-A1 (foundation A-1), we proceed to paste a column square section 0.20 x 0.20 in each of the remaining foundations.
We already have the columns distributed throughout the ground floor plan according to the specifications of the project!
WALLS (E: 0.15)
To draw the walls, we draw horizontal and vertical lines, from the columns.
For this we make axis in the center of the column and keep a space of 0.075 to each side, as you see in the image.
So we will get the thickness of the concrete block (E: 0.15),
It is recommended to start with the external walls of the building and then, according to the design, continue with the divisions of the internal walls.
WE HAVE FINISHED OUR PROJECT!
Note: The windows will be 1.00 m and the door 0.80 except for the main door that will be 1.00 m, according to the layout of our model house, the plan will contain, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, living room, kitchen and porch. "You can use the architecture you want according to your taste”
We have the blueprint of our model house completely distributed with each of its internal environments.

It was worth the wait!;
I congratulate you in advance for your achievements through this tutorial.
See you soon dear Steemians, thank you for participating in my class AUTOCAD,
UNTIL NEXT TIME!
Hoping that this tutorial has contributed to your learning
